How was everyone's weekend?

Was nice to have a 3 day weekend! But didn't get to relax as much as I wanted. Evie decided that weekend = wake up early. Like 5:30 early. Just want mama wanted to do on her holiday.

But we are almost walking! She will take 4-5 baby steps towards us then fall into our lap! Walks great just holding a hand (sooo cute and fun to walk next to her holding her hand!!). Love weekends when she is actually developing a skill so I get to witness it.

DH and his dad are installing and building a fence for the back yard. They spent 2 days this weekend doing that and there is lots of progress. By the end of the month we should have the backyard fully fenced in. Happy Dance!

We went apple picking on Sunday. Got there early. Decided to try a new farm. Got yummy honeycrisp apples. But I don't like it as much as the other farm we used to go to where there were better views of the mountains, fresh apple cider donuts, ice cream. Next year going back to the good farm.

Monday Evie and I went down to visit my aunt in Mass. Just hung out by the water / wharf.  Watching my cousins play (10 year old and 16 year old) kind of gave me  baby fever. Having 2 kids to play with eachother...

Re: How was everyone's weekend?

  • YUM, I love Honeycrisp apples!!

We had a great weekend.  Saturday we kind of just got stuff done around the house (and Jane did her now-normal marathon napping to make up for a week at school) so we didn't get out much.

Sunday Janie and I went to meet Katie and Jack at a park - so fun.  Jack is even cuter in person and Katie is as nice and fun as she seems on the board.

Yesterday I took a vacation day b/c Janie's school was closed and DH worked.  We met my sister and her kids at a local park and ran around for a while.

  • Sounds like a great weekend overall. Go Evie! Where did you guys go apple picking and where do you usually go? We still haven't made it this season.

Saturday we went to a wedding, Alex was one of three flower girls. I had a feeling I'd be put in charge of taking pictures, and I was right. A few people told me I should start doing it more often, and charge, but I mentioned I'd like a better lens option. H then said that was going to be a Christmas/before he leaves present. Woo hoo!

Sunday we had some family over for a cookout and watched some football. That was enough for me.

Monday I went to a park to take pictures of my cousin's kids. I did it this time last year and she asked to do it again. I still have to go through all of them. Last night H and I went to breastfeeding class.

Unfortunately for today, none of my bosses decided to take any weekend, let alone a long one, so I'm swamped while they're all at court on a trial.

  • Wasn't a three day weekend for us but a good one.

I took some students to a competition and they did very well considering we were missing a member and we only had one team while most schools had 3-4. Got back Saturday night and I was so tired that I left my keys in my ignition when I got home. Thankfully H went to get something from his truck and heard my radio because he just put in the battery a week ago.

Sunday I relaxed and help H with is Chemistry labs. Thankfully this week he needed Styrofoam cups and not the red party cups.

I'm really enjoying this fall weather( minus the rain).

  • We had a pretty decent weekend.

We met with a new realtor to sell our house.  She made us feel so much more confident and at ease about selling than the last one we talked to. She also set deadlines for us, etc. which we REALLY need.  We have been pretty unmotivated about getting the house ready to sell.  She gave us a list of things we need to do and said have it done by November 1.  Eeek.  So we have the next 3 weekends to get it all done.  It's not a lot, but it's nice to finally have a date that our house will be going on the market.

After we met with her - we went over to our friend's house to watch the Mizzou game.  That didn't go so well.  We did, however, have some delicious food so that sort of made up for it.  We also played some board games afterwards which was fun.

Sunday we went to breakfast with our friends and then headed home.  Dh golfed at 2 on Sunday...so it was a bit of a wasted day, but still a lot of fun.

The next few weekends will be filled with football and getting the house ready.  Wish us luck! :)

  • What is this 3 day weekend you speak of? ;)

My weekend was all kinds of off. DH was having a bad husband/dad time and well that just rubbed off on the entire family ... have I mentioned how I want a vacation from him recently?

We went to Mac's Apples in Londonderry. We usually go to Gould Hill Farm in Contocook, such a great place to go and have so many tasty apples!

  • It was good and not very busy. We did some yard work on Saturday since it was nice and then I made some pan-fried onion dip and we watched the game. Sunday was book club so it was nice to have some girl time.

I didn't have off yesterday but DH did. Tuck gets really pissy and pokes at DH until he gets up if I'm up getting ready. If I'm laying in bed and DH is up Tuck will snuggle up to me and stay in bed. My dog knows the way the world is supposed to work.

    Happiest place on Earth!

  • We had a great weekend.  We were in Boise on Saturday so we went to the farmer's market and apple picking.  We visited with some friends that we haven't seen in awhile.  Sunday we drove 14 hours to get home but we saw some great scenery of snowcapped mountains.

Yesterday DH had off so I went to the clinic to take my gestational diabetes test without having to take Kodi with.  We just did housework and errands the rest of the day.

  • I spent the weekend with my inlaws.  I keep reminding myself that some of you live with inlaws and I can make it through.  Let me just leave it at this- my baby is going to be forever in competition with her 1 week younger cousin.  It makes me sad.

Other than that... I'm working out.  And counting calories.  And I've lost 7.5 pounds in 2 weeks.   I think even DH is getting motivated, he went walking with us last night.  I'm losing my Zumba virginity tonight, can't wait!

  • We had a really nice weekend doing all sorts of fall things....

Sat we took Mads to a children's farm to check out the animals & then we went apple picking in the afternoon.... she loved it all.

Sunday we went with my parents, sister & niece to a pumpkin patch and then spent the rest of the day at their house relaxing & ended up staying for dinner too.

Yesterday was an errand day for me & Miss Maddie.  We grocery shopped, cleaned up the house, and then played outside a ton.

All in all, a really nice weekend..... hard to go to work today!
