Highs? Went to Ocean City for a day and took our dog. It was the first time she's ever been in the ocean and it was funny seeing her react to the waves. Our anniversary dinner was wonderful too.
Lows? Nothing really - I just hate packing and I started to do some of that.
Eat/make anything good? So much - sundae from Dumser's Dairyland, Fisher's Popcorn, Candy Kitchen fudge and an amazing dinner at Lewnes'.
Watch anything good? Dexter
Loving or hating the cooler weather? I wish it would cool off!
What are you looking forward to this week? Horse rescue fundraiser at the Greene Turtle tomorrow night.
Any comments, FFCs, vents, boasts, etc? I just wish this month would go by faster so we could get started on our new house.
Did you get to anything extra if you were off for Columbus Day? I went out to breakfast, took my pup to the park, made a nice dinner and did some housework.

Highs? Anniversary date with DH on Saturday.
Lows? DH and DS are both sick so I have 2 babies on my hands.
Eat/make anything good? Had a yummy steak and chipotle mac & cheese at Flemings on Saturday.
Watch anything good?Erm...not really.
Loving or hating the cooler weather? LOVE. Though it was warm this past weekend. I hope it's cool for this coming weekend.
What are you looking forward to this week? DS's Dr appt today
Any comments, FFCs, vents, boasts, etc?
Vents: DH and DS are both sick so I've been kind of on my own even though I've been fighting a cold myself for the past couple weeks. And DS has decided not to sleep at night anymore and wakes up every 45 mins so I do too.
Boasts: It's my 3rd anniversary today which is of course a very happy thing!! But I'm glad we celebrated over the weekend because no one is really in a celebrating mood today.
Did you get to anything extra if you were off for Columbus Day? I was not off.

Highs?Annabelle's 2nd birthday party was on Saturday and she had a ton of fun.
Lows?Cleaning the house and making all the food. I was exhausted before the party even started.
Eat/make anything good?My MIL made mac & Cheese and it was oh so good.
Watch anything good?Just what was in the DVR box.
Loving or hating the cooler weather?I like the fall like weather, I just hate that it was 40 degrees in the morning.
What are you looking forward to this week?Going to the pumpkin patch this weekend.
Any comments, FFCs, vents, boasts, etc? Yesterday I got my NT results back and baby#2 looks good. What a huge relief. I still can't believe I have a two year old.
Did you get to anything extra if you were off for Columbus Day?I had to work yesterday.

Highs? - Got exciting news on Fri (not about me and I'm not allowed to discuss it currently... but still!) and had lots of family time this weekend.

Lows? - We tried to go to the Apple Harvest festival, which I've been looking forward to for MONTHS, and it was insane - the first weekend for it was a wash b/c of the weather, so EVERYONE was going this weekend, and we waited in traffic for 2 hours before finally bailing. I was SO disappointed.

Eat/make anything good? - We went to a local pumpkinfest on Sun after failing miserably at going to the apple harvest festival, so I had pumpkin funnel cake while there... to.die.for.

Watch anything good? - Watched the Penguins, Steelers, and Penn State all WIN this weekend! Those are all good in my book.

Loving or hating the cooler weather? - I'm ready for it! I've been wearing the same maternity clothes over and over again b/c of the warm weather... I'm sick of them and ready to start wearing my cardigans and jeans and boots!

What are you looking forward to this week? - My iPhone should be here on Fri!!! So stinkin' excited for it to get here! Our town is also doing a "Streets of Treats" event on Sat (all the businesses in town are opening up for a trick-or-treat esque event for the little ones) and DH's church is participating, so we're dressing DS up in his costume and taking him to hang out and help pass out candy. I'm so excited to see him in his costume, and I think he's going to have a blast.

Any comments, FFCs, vents, boasts, etc? - Mmm... I've got nothin' right now.

Did you get to anything extra if you were off for Columbus Day? - We spent Columbus Day at dr's appts - DS's 15 mo checkup in the AM, a follow-up u/s in the afternoon for me. Not exactly exciting... I did get naptime to myself yesterday though b/c I didn't have the baby I usually watch during the week and DH had to run into the hospital to see a parishioner, so it was SO nice to have 2 hours of silence in the house where I could get chores done and meal plan for the week w/o having DS underfoot or DH running around doing stuff.

Highs? Took a few pics for bro, SIL and two nephews Sun morning. Also took the nephews (with SIL) to Lohr's on Sunday around 12:30. S had a good time checking out the pumpkins and he liked the hayride and the "big trakker"
Lows? DH and I got into a small argument last night (see vent below)
Eat/make anything good? at Lohr's I tried one of the apple cider slushies that Mary recommended. It was delicious!
Watch anything good? I always enjoy the Hoarders marathons and the Animal Cops marathons. I get sucked in!
Loving or hating the cooler weather? L-O-V-E this weather. But like SK said it was quite warm. I was sweating looking for a pumpkin. But we had fun.
What are you looking forward to this week? Getting the closet finished (old shelves ripped out, walls spackled, sanded, primered, painted) and getting the organizer in there and set up so I can start putting her things away. My living room is driving me nuts having all of our shower presents still sitting on the floor.
Any comments, FFCs, vents, boasts, etc? Vent: DH and I got into an argument last night because of the way he talks to me sometimes. I know I can be the same way but he literally ripped my head off over something STUpid. I swear sometimes it is like HE is the one that is pregnant and hormonal. He came home from work in a pissy mood, had a bog bowl of ice cream and then flipped his sh!t cause I moved something off of the top of the washer.
Did you get to anything extra if you were off for Columbus Day? Just had the day off, went through a lot of Charli's clothes, de-tagged the ones we were keeping and washed a few loads of her stuff.

Highs? Pumpkin picking and apple picking with friends. And that DH made us agility jumps.

Lows? Just that DH had to go back to work today.

Eat/make anything good? I'm totally jealous of Pastor's pumpkin funnel cake. Those are my absolute favorite. I'm thinking of driving to my town's fair next weekend just for the pumpkin funnel cake. I did have a delicious salad at The Cheesecake Factory yesterday though.

Loving or hating the cooler weather? I am loving how it's warm during the day and cool at night.

What are you looking forward to this week? Specialty dog show this weekend!

Any comments, FFCs, vents, boasts, etc? I'm having trouble getting out of the funk I'm in about jobs and the market I graduated into. I know that I need to get over it and be thankful but I'm bitter and I can't see to shake it.

Happy Birthday Annabelle!

Highs? All of it! DD's dance class on Saturday, visiting with DH's friend Saturday night, pumpkin patch on Sunday, lots of downtime and family time.
Lows? We're all still trying to shake a case of The Crud.
Eat/make anything good? I had a spinach salad with chicken at DuClaw's on Saturday and it was delicious. It's stupidly overpriced, so I don't get it often, but it's so yummy. And we ate on the patio - everything tastes better outside.
Watch anything good? I've been obsessed with Friday Night Lights since last week. My DVR is filling up because I'm powering through all of the seasons of FNL.
Loving or hating the cooler weather? Loving it! As others have remarked, this weekend was a little warm. I got a sunburn in the pumpkin patch!
What are you looking forward to this week? The weekend, so I can spend lots of time with my husband again. It sounds stupid, but I miss him during the week.
Any comments, FFCs, vents, boasts, etc? I'm aggravated with our car dealership because they're taking FOREVER to get DH's stereo fixed in his car. He took it in once and they couldn't find the problem so they gave it back. He took it back 2 weeks later and told them to keep it until they saw the issue, 'cause it was still happening. They gave it back and said the new stereo would be in in a couple of days. A week and a half later and the stupid effing thing still isn't in. And each time he has to drop his car off, I have to meet him there, and it's always on a Friday night at 8pm when DD is supposed to be going to bed. I'm sick of driving to Jones Junction every week.
Did you get to anything extra if you were off for Columbus Day? I'm always off nowadays. Job market=sucks.
