ISO Maternity Jacket/Coat/Heavy sweatshirt

I was going to bypass the maternity coat this winter but with as big as I feel like I will be, I think I'll need to give in.

Does anyone have one they are looking to sell?  It doesn't have to be a heavy coat, a jacket or sweatshirt type thing would be great as well.  Size L probably...depending on brand.

I've looked at ON and Target and they just don't have anything I'm interested in :(

Re: ISO Maternity Jacket/Coat/Heavy sweatshirt

  • This may sound crazy but I did have a cute maternity coat that go worn like 5 times since we had a warm fall last year then I outgrew it in the shoulder area but I had a normal men's fleece jacket from cabelas (Cabela's brand) prior to pregnancy and it fit me all winter. I loved it because I could zip it up around my belly and it wasn't super bulky like most coats are which is the last thing I wanted while pg. I didn't care about looks or style I just loved its comfort. Plus, it was bronco orange. Just something you may check out and would be cheaper than the usual winter coat options.

And cabelas does have lots of different styles so you have to find the right one. DH has a cb fleece that is more fitted and would have never fit me.

  • I have a really cute wrap sweater thing you can borrow. It definitely won't work as a jacket.. but it might be nice to keep at work in case you get chilly.

  • I went to Marshall's and just bought a size bigger than I would normally buy. I think I spent $30 on it. It worked great up until the last few weeks when I got too big for it to snap closed around the belly. I just wore a big, long scarf or a fleece underneath for those last couple weeks.
