Any ideas how this would run? My MIL wants to take family photos when we're there next week in white tops and jeans. My argument to chris that this is very 1989 fell on deaf ears, but I am refusing a buttondown. I don't own a white shirt and there's no way I can make it to the store before Wednesday, so I'm planning on ordering a few and hoping one works. I like the idea of a longer top like this, but I don't know if it'd be too tight in the hips (and have no idea how this brand runs). I haven't gotten much in the way of clothes recently, but I'm a M at lands end. no idea how that runs in comparison.

I wear a L/XL in the AB Studio brand, but a M/L in Kohl's Croft & Barrow brand. Not sure if that's any help!

I think this is pretty accurate. The AB studio brand is a little nicer than the Croft and Barrow or Sonoma and cut more feminine, IMO. I wear a small typically in AB Studio. In the others, the small is sometimes too big.This fabric looks like it would probably stretch out after you have it on for a bit, too.

Kohls is really good about returns, so if you have one near you, I would try it.

P.S. I think that sweater is very cute.

This is helpful, thanks. I might order the M and the L and see. My guess is neither will work b/c I'll need a M on top and L or XL for my hips, but its cute so worth a try.
