This week's questions:
1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week?
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time?
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)?
4.) Anything else to share?
Re: Babes With Bumps
1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week? Getting more and more crampy & achy feeling... I think I need to take it down a notch. I decided a couple of days ago that vacuuming my whole house (complete with moving the furniture) would be a good idea. Um, not so much. No appointments until next week.
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time? I am a lot worse about remembering to take my vitamins. I probably forget at least twice a week which is terrible. I need to get better.
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)? Honestly, he does most of it already (lucky me!) but I've loved the fact that he's on cloth diaper washing duty... all I have to do is stuff.
4.) Anything else to share? Halfway to the longest I'll possibly (& hopefully) be pregnant!
Our crazy, wonderful life
1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week?
Nothing new. No appointments this week.
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time?
I'm going to attempt breastfeeding this time. H and I went to a class yesterday, so now I have many more questions than answers of course.
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)?
I love handing that litter box scoop to H for months. I still do everything else.
4.) Anything else to share?
1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week?
Nothing new. No appointments this week.
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time?
Everything is pretty much the same.
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)?
Like Jill, my life is litter box free!
4.) Anything else to share? No - man, am I boring this week!
1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week? I've been feeling really rotten. Last weds I had to go into L&D to be monitored because I was having really bad and timeable cramps. The baby was fine and everything is still thick and tight so they think that I have been over doing it and since baby is riding low I pulled something. I have an appointment tomorrow, I'm on every two weeks now!
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time? I am not doing anything different on purpose, but I have been super slacking on taking belly shots and blogging. I haven't even shared our 3d ultrasounds on facebook or with family yet.
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)? He is the new shower scrubber. The shower has not been scrubbed yet.
4.) Anything else to share? After deciding on a name (but not telling anyone IRL) we have suddenly maybe changed our mind. Naming is so tough!
This week's questions:
1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week?
I feel great.
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time?
This is my 1st pregnancy. I thought I'd have to give up coffee completely, but my doctor said 200 mg a day is fine. So I have a grand half caf mocha from Starbucks.
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)?
Cleaning the floors and dishes.
4.) Anything else to share?
1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week? Still nauseous/vomiting in the mornings, which is frustrating... doctor was optimistic at my appt this morning so I'm trying to be hopeful that it will end soon! Had a check up this morning-baby's heartbeat was 155. Scheduled our a/s for Oct. 28th.
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time?
I'm just not really reading any books or anything... I'm still plenty anxious without all that information! I am not eating as well as I'd like to be, though I know the nausea has a lot to do with that... I hope I can fix it soon.
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)?
DH already did the dishes, which is my least favorite chore.
4.) Anything else to share?
1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week? I'm feeling pretty good, over my sickness from last week. I'm at the halfway point...well a few days past 20 weeks now!! A/S on thursday am at 10:15. I'm still thinking boy, DH is thinking girl....we shall see. Lets hope for a healthy, cooperative baby :-)
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time? I've noticed I don't eat as many fruits/veggies as I did with Evan. Also I have been drinking a little more caffeine, still within the range we are allowed, but more than I did with Evan.
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)? the heavy cleaning, which he has already picked up on and also carrying the laundry basket down 2 flights of stairs, washer/dryer is in our basement and the stairway is very narrow. He always did that last time.
4.) Anything else to share?
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time? I'm pretty much doing everything the same, except that this time I'm a lot more active (taking walks, cleaning up and chasing after Natalie, fresh off of Jazzercise).
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)? He does the litter and has since I was pregnant with Natalie and he also does all laundry. Other than that, I don't plan to assign him anything additional.
4.) Anything else to share? I hate the anxiety of the first trimester. I know I will not rest easy until I have my ultrasound on 11/4.
1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week? Feeling good. The last two morning I have felt a little sick but it passes quickly. No appointments this week.
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time? I can't think of anything that I didn't think I would do. But I definitely didn't realize I would think about everything I eat and drink so much.
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)? Love not having to deal with the litter boxes. Other than that I am still doing my regular shores.

1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week?
I'm feeling the same and sleep is getting worse. This past weekend I think I woke up every 2 hours each night...not fun! I have a regular checkup tomorrow, nothing too exciting.
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time?
I am probably drinking a little more caffeine. I'm also doing a horrible job of drinking enough water. It's not that I'm drinking too much of anything else, but I have to FORCE the water on myself and I don't do as good of a job of it as I should every day.
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)?
Like everybody else, I have given up cleaning the litter box, I just wish that Sam would clean it a little more often, but it is getting done. That's about all the I've really handed over.
4.) Anything else to share?
I've started to wonder how it would be if they got it wrong and I'm actually having a boy. Not that I would prefer to have a boy...just the "what-ifs".
1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week? Still feeling good overall. Having more trouble sleeping, and my boobs started leaking last night/today. No appointments until the 4th when I start seeing the other docs in the practice. Whoa!
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time? I didn't really think about what I would or wouldn't be doing. The only thing that has really changed is the food piece, and I'm not exercising as much as I would like to.
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)? I get to give up chores??
Sometimes DH is more willing to help out, others he isn't. I have started prepping him that I may need help with things down the road (like carrying the laundry basket when I get big). Truthfully though, I will need to stay on top of most of it since DH has tons of projects he needs to get working on ASAP
4.) Anything else to share? Anyone want to recommend some reusable nursing pads? I'm not leaking enough to use disposables (and would prefer not to anyway) but enough that I'm pretty sure I'll go through bra and shirt. Using a free pair of nuks I received somewhere along the way today so need to figure somethign else out soon
1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week?
About the same as last week, not very good. The new thing that's irritating me is the numbness and pain in my hands. My swelling has continued and is really uncomfortable and painful, it's mostly waist down, and then my hands have started in on the action. Doesn't matter how much water I drink or how much I elevate.
Sleeping sucks, and continues to get worse. Last night I went to bed at 11pm, was up at 12:30 for about 30 minutes, then slept until 2:00, and was up until 6:30.
My weekly appointment is tomorrow, I'm interested to see if I've dilated anymore.
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time?
This is my first pregnancy, and I've done everything how I thought I would. The main things I've given up are: caffeine, artificial sweeteners (e.g. aspartame, high fructose corn syrup), drinking (duh), all pain relief medication, the prescription meds that I could drop, being around harsh smells, etc. It really hasn't been that difficult for me to do these things. My OB encouraged me to take Tylenol for my headaches, but I don't want to take anything unless I really have to.
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)?
They really haven't changed, but I get more assistance from him (e.g. he carries the laundry basket up and down the stairs for me). He knows I'm a lot more tired and uncomfortable than before, so he helps out some, but I usually have to ask him.
4.) Anything else to share?
I'm full term today, so baby Eloise can feel free to come on out anytime now! We are pretty much ready for her. The main thing that's left is getting the car seats inspected (they are installed), finishing the hospital bag, and washing all the cloth diapers (which we won't be using under she fits into them/ her stub falls off).
1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week?
Little achy & "full" feeling, but good overall.
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time?
Definitely a bit more active this time than last with chasing Mads around, but otherwise treating it pretty much the same, still laidback for the most part.
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)?
Carrying the laundry hamper up & down the basement stairs & cleaning the bathtub (we have a really deep one that I can barely reach down into when not pregnant, nevermind now with this belly)
4.) Anything else to share?
1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week?
I'm feeling awful physically and nervous emotionally. I started having contractions that I can feel now rather than the ones from my irritable uterus that I couldn't feel. I've been having twice a week NSTs and have my next BPP/ growth scan/ doppler flow study on Thursday. I'm hoping that both babies look good this week and they both have grown well.
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time?
I'm doing a lot less than I thought I would be able to. I have had a lot of complications where the solution is more rest so there's not much I can do about it.
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)?
DH has been vacuuming since I got put on pelvic rest for OHSS in the beginning. He recently has been emptying the dishwasher because I can't do it anymore and this past weekend he took over the food shopping. I feel bad because he works 6 days a week but I physically can't do much anymore, plus I'm supposed to be resting a lot because of Baby A's poor growth.

1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week? I'm feeling good. I was beyond exhausted on Saturday and I definitely need to eat the minute I feel hungry. My first appointment isn't until Halloween.
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time? I haven't had too much caffeine, but I am eating deli meat. I love turkey sandwiches! Right now there's nothing that I'm doing that I didn't think I would, but I'm still pretty new to this whole pregnancy thing.
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)? Um...we're just starting our giant "clean out the whole house" project. I got to scrub down the kitchen - I wore gloves and turned the vent on. For now, I'm sure the chores will stay the same. I don't think we'll be painting for awhile, so that will end up being DH's job, even though I usually do it. At some point I'm sure DH will have to carry my laundry basket downstairs for me.
4.) Anything else to share? My MIL told some of DH's aunts/uncles and cousins even though DH told her that she wasn't supposed to tell anyone. I'm a little ticked, but as long as she doesn't tell DH's dad's side of the family (who we see fairly often - we're seeing them next weekend), I'll be okay. Is it November yet so I don't have to keep this on the DL anymore?
My Blog
1.) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or changes in symptoms you'd like to share? Any appointments coming up this week? I passed my GD test! Yippee! I was really worried I would have to give up my sweets craving for the next few months. I did, however, find out I'm slightly anemic, which I guess is pretty common. They want me to take an iron supplement. I hear that causes constipation. Fantastic.
Back pain is becoming a constant issue. I can't get comfortable in a sitting position. Between my belly and my bewbs, I feel like I am going to fall over forward at any minute. All the weight on my front side is killing me.
2.) If this is your first pregnancy, are you doing anything you didn't think you would? (drinking caffeine, etc.) If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy, are you doing anything differently this time? I was surprised at the number of things you're not "supposed" to eat during pregnancy (lunchmeat, hot dogs, etc). I haven't stopped anything, but have definitely cut back on the caffeine, Splenda, lunchmeat, fish from the Great Lakes (Mercury levels), etc. I think the only thing I haven't eaten is sushi.
I have definitely been doing more activity than I thought I would. I was really expecting DH to step in and tell me to take it easy, stop lifting, etc, but he hasn't. I've burned myself out a few times, ending up in tears and frustrated with DH.
3.) Which household chore are you most looking forward to giving up to DH for the duration of the pregnancy (or have you already handed over)? He's been good about the litter box. That's about the only thing I've actually asked him to take over, although there are a host of other things I'd love to give up.
4.) Anything else to share?
