Is it wrong to shoot my H on our anni?
Because I am about to do just that. Seriously fuming angry right now.
With our insurance, his meds in generic rx = $10.
The Walgreens he went to was out of generic and told him it would be a little more for name brand. he said ok...and proceeded to pay $85 for a refill rather than having them oh, call around to the one of the other 10 Walgreens in the vicinity.
I could shoot him right now. Just a wee, teeny bit of common sense once in a while would make me happy.
Re: Is it wrong to shoot my H on our anni?
Did they tell him what the original cost of the generic was and he said sure $75 difference no big deal? Or they said it's a little more and then dropped the new price on him after it was filled?
Trying to find ways to keep the man alive.
They said a little more, he said ok. They filled it and rang it up and said your total is $84.37 and he said ok and swiped his card. No WHOA, that is a lot more, can you call around? Nope. Just ok.
I am seething angry right now. If that was the regular price, ok. If there wasn't any to be found in the vicinity, ok. But the utter lack of common sense to see if somewhere else had it for oh, $75 less, I am ready to kill the man.
This made me LOL but, yes I think it would be ironic
You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted and used against you. My Blog

I would call & complain.
in all honesty, i would never think to ask them to call around and see if somewhere else had the generic. sometimes, i'm cool with the idea of paying more for something so i don't have to waste precious time (although really, more often, it would be that i would not assume there's any available conveniently).
i also don't know how much my meds regularly cost.
yes, i'm an idiot sometimes. lucky for me, though, i have boobs and can generally divert DH's attention by using them. your poor DH doesn't have that kind of defense mechanism for his dummy-moves. bless his little heart.

Driving a mile down the road to save $75 is worth it to me. I would absolutely beat DH senseless if he was too lazy to drive to another CVS/Walgreens to save $75 and I would sure hope he would do the same to me, boobs or not.
Could be wrong here, but I think once the medicine leaves the pharmacy they don't take it back. I think there is a sign at my Walgreens that says something along those lines.
That is what I thought too. I am still pissed. If he had something super important to do, ok, fine. BUT, he is home for three friggin' weeks at a time in which he is totally a husband of leisure (insert yoga and baking jokes here). There is absolutely no reason other than lack of common sense for him to not ask them to call around.
So since we didnt hear any reports of a lady shooting her husband and you are posting today...
did he at least get you a nice anni present to make up for it?
