How exciting that you are going to do the LA marathon!!
After reading blog posts, watching coverage on TV, etc - I have a strong desire to run the Chicago marathon next year. We'll see how long that desire lasts. Haha.
Good luck to you though. I look forward to reading about your training, etc if you do decide to do it.
Re: *AllieH*
Eeek! Yeah. I'm very afraid. But, it just seems like the next logical step after 5 halfs. And, it's on the bucket list, so I might as well just do it already!
I will say one thing, though. At Long Beach on Sunday, there was a Marathon and a Half Marathon. The courses were the same for the first 11 miles or so. Then the Marathon verged off to the right to do a whole bunch of miles, and merged back in with the half marathoners when we each had a mile to go. I'm going to have to do a marathon (like Chicago, NY, or LA) that has no half marathon option. Because at mile 11, there is no way I'm going to choose to go right, when I could go left and go straight to the finish.
