Thank you so much for the rec on the silicone food ice cube trays! I ordered one set, since H is really against kitchen clutter and convinced that we'd only use one set at a time. But I did sign up for Amazon Mom, so if we need more I can get them shipped for free anytime. Can't wait for them to arrive!
At my work shower on Sat a friend passed on her baby food book, so I'm excited to try things out.
Also, I was able to work it out with my bosses for me to WFH part-time during my maternity leave, so I'm super stoked about that. This is for the second part of my leave, 6 weeks of bonding time. I'll hopefully be able to work 2 days and be on leave 3 days, so spread it out to 10 weeks. Yay!

Re: SusieQ
Lol at your H. When I did my puree-en-masse on Saturday I had six in the freezer at once! But I work an hour from home so I don't have time to do one-at-a-time during the week. Big score on the baby food book. I use http://wholesomebabyfood.momtastic.com/ for now.
I've heard Amazon mom is great. I know a lot of women on my BB got diapers from there. I haven't but it sounds like they have some great deals sometimes.
And score on the WFH deal. You will not regret it. Not one bit.
Wow, my Amazon box just came! The trays are very cute, and I'll check out the recipes.
I'm glad my bosses finally listened to me about the leave and are trusting me that either baby won't be a distraction, or I'll arrange for someone to watch him. It helps my stress level a lot that I won't have to worry about fitting in to my work clothes again so soon.
