I just bought this deal at LivingSocial.

Thought it was worth a shot to see if anyone else was interested. I have been searching around for a good deal on lessons and then this appeared. Why are riding lessons so expensive! I am so excited to get back on a horse. I took lessons when I was a kid and loved it. Anyone else a rider? I would love to find someone to take DH riding because he has never been.

Yeah it's in Lake Stevens which is about 30mins from me. I'd rather have found a deal in Woodinville or Bothell but this was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up. Now lets hope they have a good time slot for me! I'd love to own a horse, my sister-in-law and I have talked about owning one.
yeah, my sister and I have talked about it too! I hope she marries rich, lol

this is awesome! I'm totally going to look into this some day
ETA: my mom totally wanted chickens, and probably still does, but decided not to when she realized they only produce eggs for a relatively short period in their life I guess. And she couldn't do what most farmers do with 'post menopausal' chickens... :-/ Do you want them as pets? Or maybe some make eggs longer than others? In any case, I guess that ended it for her. Then she got bees. Which is kind of cool, but there's a lot of annoying things about that that she didn't know about. So much for trying to be a home farmer, lol

yeah I mean, I think you have to want them as a pet and then be happy that you get eggs out of it for a while! I guess my mom didn't quite want them enough, so she got a second cat
Although every year we go to the Puyallup Fair, I do like going to see all the different kinds of chickens, some of them are crazy looking!
This year we saw these frillback pigeons!
and, if I got chickens I would totally get these, lol
IT'S SO FLUFFY!

And silkies are the best -- they don't look real to me... maybe like something Sesame Street would come up with. I hear they're good lay-ers, too.

EEEE!! Those could maybe make me into a chicken person!! That first one is AWESOME, looks like something quilled. It looks more like some exotic dove though to me with that face. That second one is now the only time I've wanted to try and cuddle a chicken
We have the space for a hen house, but hubby HATES eggs (unless it's in a baked good) and I don't have a hankerin' for the squawkin' mess.
I don't want to ruin it, but the first one is a pigeon
But yes, there are actually lots of 'cute' chickens that I totally want to cuddle now. You should go to to the Puyallup Fair and pick one out
