True, but the "wrong" Andrew didn't have any striking/different physical characteristics and he looked like a lot of guys in the Seattle area (MS/nerd type). So I could see confusing him with the original Andrew.
ETA: and this is assuming that the original Andrew looks very similar.

No I agree - I just find the whole thing ridiculous and thought this new development made it even funnier.
Really does show the ridiculousness of what the Internet age has brought us to. For every life saved because someone gets important info online or a doctor in a remote area is able to more easily communicate with a specialist...there are at least 5x the amount of douchery going on.
Writing on the receipt = douche
Publicly lambasting/creating media spectacle AND posting the guy's signature/credit card receipt = breach of trust, I wouldn't want to frequent an establishment where the staff can do *** like that.
I've known an Andy Meyer as well, in Georgia. It's a COMMON NAME.

i went to school with an "andrew meyers"...or meirs...or something. i dont' remember the spelling..he was a year younger than me, and TBH, i don't know what he looks like...he was a friend of my neighbors though.
