Finally! After 3 1/2 weeks..

I got some!  DH and I have been super busy and I have had AF for a ridiculous amount of time like 14 days! ugh... and also we have been trying to work through some of our communication issues we have also and I am the horniest person in the world I think and AF did not help that out at all... Finally after almost a month I got sex! Wahoo!  DH has gotten some other things in the last month, but not me...boo... but finally..I almost did a happy dance.  I have a teenagers sex drive and DH does not.

Re: Finally! After 3 1/2 weeks..

  • I'd see a doc about an overly long menstrual period. That is a cause for concern and I'd get that checked out if I were you.

Periods a great deal longer than usual can also tax your bone marrow.

  • The reason I am believing that I had such a long AF is because I hadn't had one in several months.. It has been all screwy since having DD and breastfeeding for 14 months I didn't have one because my body was acting as a natural birth control which was fine and great and then I had three (this was number four) in the years time from stopping breastfeeding all fairly long and very far apart like my cycles are just super stretched out.  The last one before this one was in the beginning of June and then one in March and then before that was December.  (We are coming up at the end of this month of our 1 year of not breastfeeding). I am not super concerned about it, I know it is not normal, but I am trying to let my body fix itself.

And have an effect on iron levels and general health and bone issues in addition to marrow issues.

I also don't think that a misse period will account for a longer or heavier one next time.
