I have to get a form notarized so I can get my Ohio retirement system monies rolled over into an IRA that I opened yesterday. Any idea of a notary public in the Arlington area (I plan to go on Friday on my day off)? I have never had to use one before. Is there a fee associated typically?
Re: Notary Public
Stand up for something you believe in.
There's one up the street at the gas station (random) by where I work. That's not helpful though, it's in Rockville.
I've also seem notary publics at the library, college admissions offices and banks.
Ditto Mary by checking if you have a legal dept!
ETA: Do you carry insurance through someone local (like, with a physical office you can go into)? They might have one.

This is a good idea! I know when I worked in the Governor's office out in Arizona, there was a notary in our building.
This is what I was going to suggest. Or the library.
The banks generally do them for free if you have an account.
I am also a notary and do not charge (Alexandria)
i work in rockville near twinbrook and i am one. i'd do it for free if you wanted to treck out here.
banks do them and your local courthouse proabaly has one. yes they'll charge you but it won't be much i'd imagine
