For now!
We made it safely on Saturday. Our apartment is really cute, I really like it! (Except going up to the third floor to drop of boxes, then back down, back up and repeat SUCKS!
Our kitchen and living room are all put together. Our bathrooms are usable. Working on the closets and bedrooms still though!
I'm liking it so far....but the bugs out here are CRAZY and I'm scared of insects.
How's everyone doing? Anything new?

Welcome to the East Coast! I was glad to see that your drive went smoothly. It looked fun.
Good luck unpacking. When we moved, we got everything functional in place and then unpacked the other stuff as we felt like it. It took 9 months to get any pictures on our walls!
Thanks everyone!
H got restationed and will be starting some training next week for the Marines Corps....so active duty military life has officially started for us. He was always a reservist, so we have never been in this environment really, so we're getting used to it.
I'm trying to get the place unpacked ASAP so it feels like home, we might only be here for six months...but hopefully at least a year. We're 40 miles South of DC in Stafford, VA.
Idk what bugs they are...but they're really creepy. I have had run ins with several different ones I've never seen before.
The trip was long, but good. We saw some really neat stuff like Independence Rock, Mt. Rushmore, and traveled through I think 13 different states to get here.
I got transferred to a Bath & Body Works out here, so I'm a happy camper. I worked at my last store for a year and was very very sad to leave them but hopefully this will be a really great store too!
Amy, congrats again!!!
Are you getting bombarded by Stink Bugs yet? I don't know how they are in other parts of the country but here in PA they are just taking over! I mean, I can't open a door without one falling on me. Yuck!
