NaNoWriMo
Anyone around here done it or thinking about doing it this year? I always see talk of it on the nationals. It's dependent on work not blowing up in the next few weeks - but I'm thinking about giving it a go even if it's to stream of conscious some utter junk that no one will ever see.

Me either. Sometimes when things get too crazy I feel like I'm being pulled in too many directions to come up with anything interesting to say. I'm digging the idea of writing for the sheer volume of it.
Like I said - it sort of depends on work - but if anyone wants to join me it might be fun to check it with each other!!

It is. The "rules" seem pretty straightforward. Write 50,000 words between midnight November 1st and 11:59 November 30th.

I love this.
Kathryn, NaNoWriMo is "National Novel Writing Month". The idea is to throw caution (and editing) to the wind a whip out 50,000 words worth of novel during the month of November. You can outline, research, yadayada, beforehand - but all writing must be done is a sort of frenzy during just those 30 days.

haha - that's insane! I have a busy schedule of Bravo and E! shows to watch - where woudl I find the time? Rachel Zoe isn't going to watch herself!!
That would be awesome!! I *just* got sucked into a massive sh!tstorm of a deal this morning (figures after I put this out there, right?), so someone holding me accountable on this end would really help. I totally miss writing.

I've actually been thinking about doing this. I love the idea of it, and the challenge it poses. I will have to try to think of some ideas between now and Nov 1st so I can join you, and those on the national boards!
