Randoms since I can't sleep
(Flameful) One of my good friends is having a baby next month. I hate the name she picked out. It just really isn't my style. (Fiona) Please tell me to keep my mouth shut about it.
I am oddly fascinated/excited that the motorcycle from Happy Days is going up for auction. Too bad the estimated price is around $90,000.
Someone in our neighborhood with too much time on his/her hands called code enforcement on a bunch of people. Each house with a warning has a whopping 2 days to take care of issues.
I miss my mom. I want a mom who doesn't judge me and that isn't going to happen. I want her to love me unconditionally and sadly it seems those days are behind us.

Some randoms from me:
-I am feeling a little overwhelmed right now. My job is crazy busy, I am trying to stay above water with homework for my yoga teacher training, and H and I have plans every night of the week. It's so fun to have friends and activities and whatnot, but I'm feeling a bit drained.
-H and I are dog-sitting for friends of ours and two dogs is so much more exhausting than one. They just don't.stop.playing. I was joking with the maintenance guy about it and I said "I bet it's like that with kids too!" and he laughed and said "is it ever!" lol.
-The car we bought last Thursday is finally being delivered today and I'm SO excited to get it! Lame: I am oddly stoked that I get to drive it before H since I work at home and he's at work!
Don't say anything about the name, Julie! Maybe it will grow on you? That has happened to me with names several times!
My randoms:
- My body is messed up since going off birth control. I need to get an appointment and go back on it quickly because weeping all the time and having bad gas and no sex drive = not okay.
- Last night I took the dead flowers out of a huge fall bouquet BF brought me a couple weeks ago, but kept all the twiggy/viney things, wheat looking stuff, mini cat o'ninetails, etc. and put them all in a smaller vase, and put some tiny gourds around the bottom, and a fall scented candle in front of it. It looks festive and smells nice. Totally simple and not a big deal but it made me happy.
- Work is totally wearing me down. One client in particular. I know it could be worse. It's just really frustrating right now!
- I'm going to make a poll later about my NaNo ideas/options. Because I'm a total PW and am feeling very indecisive.
At first I thought your post read "Condoms since I can't sleep."
I guess I need another cup of coffee, lol.
That's one way to pass the time when you can't sleep!
We did get a code enforcement notice. DH and I argue about the crap he insists on keeping in the driveway instead of our garage that looks like hoarders. Code enforcement is upset about a lawnmower in the driveway and a few radom things. We need to clean the garage to get the lawnmower in. I am secretly glad that we now have to clean out the garage and I don't have to be the "bad guy." I should never have married a packrat. LOL!
The condom thing could have been fun except DH was snoring away.
My randoms:
- My hair needs to be colored so badly that I wish I could wear a hat to work.
- My mother is driving me nuts. We are going on a family cruise in December and we agreed to do our excursions on our own. She is calling me daily to say, "Well, what about just this one excursion? Everyone else says yes so if you would just say yes, I'll book it." Grrr....
- One of my clients is a completely arrogant prickhead but in some ways he reminds of my dad so I can't help but like him anyway.
- I helped a friend get a job with my firm recently and she is knocking it out of the park with her performance. I am insanely proud.
