Morning, gals.
I'm pooped. It is so dark out in the morning, it is really hard to wake up. But I also like that the sun is not shining in and slapping me in my face at 5 am...
Went in for my massage last night...the woman goes "ok, 50 minutes of deep tissue, right?" And I was like, "Uh, no. 90 minutes. That is what my gift certificate is for and that is what I asked for." She goes, "well, they definitely booked someone for an hour from now, so we can only do 50 minutes. You get undressed and I will go see what is going on." So I strip down and get on the bed and try to relax, but I am totes frustrated. She comes back in and doesn't mention it and goes about the massage. Which was really wonderful. But after 50 minutes she stopped--without having me flip over and without ending by rubbing my head/ears/face quickly like usual (my favorite part!). I figured she had to rush me out of there for the next client and that she was just trying to squeeze in the most real massage that she could so she wasn't doing foofoo stuff like my head? Either way though, I was disappointed, I REALLY wanted my 90 minutes! Oh well...I got dressed and went out and she goes, "well, they messed up. It said you were in the book for 90 minutes but they double booked basically. So this massage was free, come back in soon and we will give you the 90 minute massage from your gift certificate."
SCORE.
Went home, made some pizzas, relaxed with G (who was sick), and hit the hay.
Hoping to maybe go for a run today, but my toes are still killing me! We shall see...

Lazy night last night. Cooked on the grill and caught up a bit on our DVR. Unloaded/Loaded the dishwasher, then went to bed to watch NCIS. DH was all pissy about his phone so I ended up just reading for a little while until I passed out. Baby slept better last night which meant I did too, but I woke up with a monster headache this morning. I'd really like to lop my noggin off. I think that would make it feel better.
However, absent a machete to make that happen, I'm resorting to caffeine and hoping for the best.

Well ladies..... I GOT MY JOB!!!!!!!! My professor told me they were sending an offer letter out to me this week, hopefully it's a good offer. If I sat through law school for 4 years to make the same I was making as a manager I will die. I didn't quite get the reaction from J that I was looking for, I figured after supporting my sorry behind for 4 years he would have been WICKED excited, but rather he told me not to accept the first job offer, to negotiate for more money and that I should now start applying other places to get competing offers.
So that didn't go over well with me. The economy blows, people are still out of work from years ago, 1/2 of my law school class still doesn't have a job, seriously if someone wants to pay me, I'm going to let them. And I'm not entirely sure I will be negotiating either.
In other news, a friend called yesterday to ask if I wanted to go to the Bills/Giants game this weekend (I'm a HUGE bills fan) of course I said yes!!! So J and I are leaving on Saturday for NYC!!!!

Today is my Friday!
Last night I was so tired that I did not get ice cream for dinner. If I knew I could have gotten in and out I would have but I knew I would end up chatting and was just too tired for that.
I watch "Five" on Lifetime last night. It's was 5 short movies in one movie all about women with Breast Cancer. It was really good and not as sad sobbing as I thought it would be.
I have been on a HUGE Bon Jovi kick. I think this baby is going to be a big Bon Jovi fan. They are all I want to listen too.

We went out for HH with some friends from work last night. We had a great time, but I'm still feeling poopy and decided to have a margarita anyway. Not a good idea. I thought I was going to fall asleep on the table! We got home to find that our souvenirs that we mailed home from Africa THIRTY-FIVE DAYS AGO finally got here! I was so excited and tore into the package only to find that two of our really awesome stone carvings that we bought were smashed to smithereens. Like, seriously beyond repair. Not cool, post office. Not cool.

Last night was ok. We had our birthing class. I know that pregnant women are prone to have gas, but there is a woman in there that sits by us that is constantly dropping a$$ and it's starting to make my stomach curl. Can't stand it! And it's not like the room is huge so we can't just move......
Had a cleaning at the dentist this morning. Guess all my morning sickness is somehow cleaning my teeth b/c they said my teeth looked great and I had basically no build up on there. Awesome, glad to see my stomach acid is taking care of something on the way up!
I'm so freaking exhausted from not sleeping well, and J is NOT understanding it. Told him this morning, that I want a morning to sleep in this weekend that is completely undistrubed. Which means: No dog in the room (i'm convinced he doesn't sleep at night b/c i'm constantly hearing him doing stuff around the room), no phone vibrating with texts about hunting at 4 am, no husband up and getting ready for hunting, no husband kissing me good bye when he leaves, and preferably- no husband in there taking up the majority of the bed.
Last saturday J went hunting, and he slept in the other room which was great. But he was still coming in and out of the bedroom while getting ready. Then on sunday morning, he had told a friend he was hunting that morning but ended up being hungover from his b-day celebration the night before. He never told his buddies, so they started texting him at 4 am sunday asking where he was.
I NEED MY SLEEP NOW, BEFORE THIS BABY COMES!!!!
Ok, that's my rant for the day.

Yesterday after work, headed to Costco to get some groceries - including finding pork roast for $1.99/lb, which I couldn't pass up so I added that into my cart and $70 later I was done. After getting home, the dog and I walked an easy 3 miles, the weather was perfect for that. And today, took a vacation day since I'm having acupuncture before and after my IUI. I would have taken a half sick day but since I'll be out and about for more than 4 hours (with my driving time added in), I said screw it I'll take a whole day. And my quarterly bonus was on my paycheck today, cha-ching!
IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.

In my news...today is an ***, just like yesterday was. I left my umbrella at home last night and my computer at home this morning. So I had to file *** for an hour and a half till MFD brought it to me. And my blackberry is not receiving messages. What the shiz.
So a fancy brigade was caught last night running a prostitution ring our of their clubhouse. How about that! Mummer run prostitution. Hahahaha. MFD keeps saying "this is going to give ALL mummers a bad name." Because people don't know that the stringbands really don't know the fancies, etc. He woke me up after the news last night to tell me. Hello it could've waited. I keep laughing because it's hilarious. Idiots.
I am veddy veddy sleepy. It's hard to get out of bed when it's raining.
I'm also hungry but that's another issue entirely.
Last night I made a very good au gratin potato dish in a low fat version, and put autumn minestrone soup in the crock. We ate the potatoes and ham, then MFD went to practice. I did two loads of laundry and cleaned the kitchen. I also watched Gossip Girl, Hart of Dixie, and the foolish Kardashian wedding on DVR and updated some framed photos.

Agreed! I don't watch this normally, but caught a few minutes the other night while trying to sleep of their vacation on some island, where Kim lost an earring in the water. He seems slow, but I also totally agree with him that you shouldn't own something you can't afford to lose. Pff.
Wednesday! Wow, this week is flying by. Of course, I had Monday off (but worked from home), and WFH again yesterday because I kept puking. Ugh. Finally dragged my azz into the office today, and hope I'll be able to stay all day. Life is just so much comfier in yoga pants, though.
Had our hospital tour last night, and the last class we have is breastfeeding, which is next week. This shiz is getting so real! The tour was really good, and we feel more prepared. They have wifi and iPod docking stations, which means that I can be lazy and instead of preparing different birth playlists, I can just pick different Pandora channels. Win!
Shauni - what a win on the massage! As I was reading that, at first I thought she was going to give you the shaft and was getting upset for you.

Rachel - aw, hell no. That is a bummer on your shipment. My parents are freaks and normally pack an extra bag full of bubble wrap, but I'm sure they didn't do that this time. I remember one time they shipped a ton of pottery from Tuscany, and like 2/3rds of it was broken when it arrived. Grr.
Moleson - you have totally earned a dog and hubby free night of sleep! Hope J agrees.
Angie - yay, congrats on the job! Do you have any classmates with offers out there? It doesn't hurt to at least talk with people about what kind of $$ offers they're getting. Women in general tend to undervalue ourselves, and it's just good to have those checkpoints to make sure we're not just rolling over. I know I wish I'd negotiated with my boss at the beginning. She had some leeway about where to start me on the payscale (gov't), but because I didn't ask, I was just automatically put at the bottom. Now that our salaries are frozen for about 2 years, I'm sure as hell kicking myself for not standing up for myself back then!
Home today, at least that is if I decide not to run into town for a few errands. Finally should have a check in the mailbox that will pay the bills, so I need to get it to the bank. Might just wait til tmw... Feeling pretty lazy due to this craptastic cold I've apparently been fighting off for about a week. UGH. I did manage to do the dishes, start the dishwasher, strip the bed and start a load of laundry though, so I am accomplishing a little bit today.
We finally sold my old car last night!! So happy it's gone. Hopefully we can start to get out of the hole we're in from the summer of no work. Wahoo. Went out to dinner with a little of the $$ last night since we haven't been in so long. Yum. Otherwise I was a lazylazy bones. Slept like crap since this cold made it tough to breathe. Tried sleeping in a bit and got a text from a fried at 9 am. Didn't want to answer it... but did. Might have an overnight guest this weekend. Maybe we can pull off a bonfire... Sounds like fun to me!

Good morning. Ugh...it's only Wednesday. Last night we finished up painting our cemetery fence and coffin. This darn project has taken forever, but at least we'll be ready to put up the decorations tonight.
We also bought our costumes yesterday and we will be a mariachi couple. Rich still isn't that crazy about the idea but I already bought the costumes online yesterday so tough cookie.
