I ovulated, thyroid is fine. It's good, but I almost wish they would have found something wrong. I feel a little defeated, but ovulation is half the battle, so I shouldn't be. James is now considering IUI which is nice.

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.

We haven't had any real fertility testing done because of the cost. I have a pretty good idea that the problem is with James (based on the fact that he wears a harness for work every day), but he's been reluctant to do a SA. I think now that it's proven that my thyroid is okay and that I'm ovulating, he's more apt to believe that it might be an issue with him (which he may have been denying), and seems more open to doing it. For IUI, they would take his "deposit" and wash it and get all the good swimmers. He knows that and seems willing. I think we are going to finish out the clomid (dr. said 6 months), and then maybe talk about an IUI. If the IUI doesn't work, that's as far as we would be able to go out of pocket.
Yes, it has been frustrating. We figured we were super fertile since Tillman was such a surprise, but my new theory is that James had an amazing super sperm at the same time that I had an amazing super egg, and the timing was perfect and we made the most perfect, amazing, smart, handsome, sweet child that ever there was. That even our issues with fertility that we may have had all along couldn't stop the amazingness and superness that was bound to be Tillman.
