what do you want for xmas?
Did we discuss this at all already? I always have a hard time coming up with something I want. I think I want a soda maker. I think I'm gonna get Kevin a kindle touch. What are you asking for? What are you getting your H's? What are you getting your kids if applicable?

I can't think of anything I really need/want yet. Josh is always difficult to shop for, so I have no idea what I'll get him yet either.
I'm sure we'll be focusing mostly on gifts for the baby this year:) I'm sort of afraid of how many gifts she'll get from both of our families!:)
Speaking of Christmas, I've been seeing tons of cute ornaments out in the stores already...which makes me think of the Niner ornament exchange! Are we doing that this year? (Yes, I know it's only mid-October!)

I think I am going to ask for new sunglasses for Christmas, mine got scratched this summer while on vacation so I could use a new pair. I also saw this really cute clutch by Michael Kors that holds your iPhone on one side and is a wallet on the other.
For H I think I am going to get him tickets to a Broadway show. I am thinking Book of Mormon bc I heard it is really good and he likes going to shows.
As for the baby we decided that H and I will each pick out one toy, one outfit and one book from us bc we know she will get a lot from everyone else.
I'm hoping for a garage door opener, haha, I hate getting out of the car to open it up in the winter or the rain.
I'm not sure what I'm getting him yet, usually he is so easy to buy for but I'm having trouble coming up with things this year. I may get him a tool chest.

I have no idea what I want for Christmas and rarely ever do. The only thing I've come up with is a large cupcake carrier. I also have a list of nail polishes I would like.
I think I'm going to get Jay a soda maker. He will love it and I won't have to hear about it every time he runs out of soda because he'll be able to just make more.
Obviously no kiddos of our own but we'll be shopping for the kids in our life while were down in DisneyWorld in early December. Can't. Friggin'. Wait.
I don't really want anything, tbh. And I have no idea what to get Guy.
For Ellie, we're not getting her anything big, just a few toys and books. She'll get tons from other family members. I know for sure we're going to get her the Yo Gabba Gabba Keytar, the Wonder Pets plushies, and the Moose and Zee plushies. And I've bought finger paints and toddler crayons for her stocking.
I was thinking about this too- I want to do it again, and I'm happy to organize if people want to do it.
This year I don't know what I want. I'm seriously considering buying Kirk a Kindle Fire too because he is on my iPad all the time and it is starting to piss me off. BUT the Kindle Fire won't do FaceTime, which is his fave part of the iPad, so idk if it is even worth it.

I thought about this too. I don't bake much though but I wonder if I would if I had a handy dandy mixer to do so.
Maybe when I become a SAHM I'll become Martha Stewart and need one...

I can't ask for anything since our bedroom set was my birthday/Chrismakkah gift.
I'm going to see how big my bonus is this month and maybe put some away to get Jon an iPad. There's really nothing else he wants anyway and he might be doing some traveling for work soon, so it would be cool if he had one.
Beth-Did you ever get a new bedroom set after Jordan's screwed you over?
I would like an Iphone, hopefully from my H, but we don't usually spend that much money on each other, so maybe I'll use cash my parents will likely give me to get one.
Not sure what H wants, we don't usually do big gifts, but are trying to start a "stocking"/little gifts tradition.
I'll spoil my niece and nephew...
Ugggh. We ended up keeping the bed they sent. Apparently they don't even MAKE a california king in the one we chose so they gave us the other option. Without asking us or calling or anything. But they justified it by saying that the one they sent us cost more anyway and told Jon "it's ok, we aren't going to come after you for the difference."
Um. Ok, well that's good. Because it's not like we STOLE the furniture, we paid the bill that YOU sent us and strangely expected to receive the bed that we asked for. Even though at no time were we told that the bed we asked for didn't come in the size we needed.
Then someone had to come and buff out/paint the dresser that arrived damaged. Then someone had to come and fix the doorframe that the first people took a melon ball sized hole out of moving in the dressers.
This was not a fun time. If we could've found anything that we liked as much for as good a price we would've had them take it all back.
Sorry, that was a novel. A simple "yes, we have furniture, no it's not the furniture we expected" would have probably worked :op

That whole situation was so screwed up, and it sucks to not have what you wanted in the end. I'm glad they came back and at least fixed the crap that they busted, although I'm sure it was not super convenient for you. I hate companies with poor customer service, and although I have never used Jordan's, I will remember this for the future!!!
I want the pasta roller attachement for my KitchenAid, and a new lens for my camera. Those are the only things I can think of now...
I'm probably going to get H new speakers for his truck, he's got one that's going out and it's uber annoying. I know he wants them, but feels bad spending the money. We dont' typically do big gifts, but he surprised me with a Nook last year, so I might splurge a little on him this year.
