What kind of "big" toy (bike or otherwise)
K is getting a bike from Santa this year. I have no clue what to get B from Santa. He is getting a train table from my parents and last year he got a trike that converts from a push trike to one he can pedal on. I'd like to get him something like a bike or a bigger toy, but I'm just clueless. He will be 2 in March. Ideas?
Re: What kind of "big" toy (bike or otherwise)
I've been contemplating buying Austin something like this:

Someone had it at the park the other day and he loved it....My only concern is that it may only last for next summer since he will probably be too big for it the following year. However, I feel like if I bought him something like this:

then he may not be able to figure it out next year yet, and then it's kind of pointless to buy this year...KWIM? It's a hard age.
My family is buying Austin a train table, we are buying him a kitchen set (probably a used one cause I'm cheap like that), and DH's parent's will probably buy him that tractor above, or a bunch of big tractors that he can push around...Those will be his "big" toys.
He has this: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3417612
And we have a kitchen set from DD. I'm hesitant to buy any other ride on toys because they take up so much room (both kids would love a Cozy Coupe, there is just no where to store it). I'm thinking about a fold and go wagon, but that will be more for both of them. Hmmm... it is a hard age! Especially with an older child that has lots of "big" stuff already that he can play with.
I'd go with the wagon for sure. Who cares that they'll both use it. He's still so young he's not going to "claim" that it's his and get pissed that K is riding in it. You only have another year or so of that!!
Like you said, you already have the big basics from K. Get something you know you'll use instead of more stuff to store

That's kind of what I was thinking, but we have a wagon, so that's my only hesitation. I will likely get rid of the other wagon since it's not collapsible if we go this route, just looking for other ideas before I "settle" on this one.
I'm not sure there are other ideas... Santa needs a new bag of tricks.
Yeah, CL that wagon and get a new one. It sounds like between the 2 of them they are pretty much set on big stuff.
I guess another option would be a tool bench but he might be too little this year. I found a wooden one on CL a few months ago.
