College care package ideas?
My little sister is a freshman in college 8 hours from home. She's dealing with some roommate drama. After listening to her late last night I want to send a care package. Sort of as a pick-me-up and a treat for doing so well with her classes.
I found a website that gives some good ideas, but I thought I'd ask here too. I swear it wasn't that long ago, but I can't think of anything good that I would have wanted to receive.
Ideas??
Re: College care package ideas?
I would send her favorite candy bar, a GC for either the movies or her favorite restaurant. A nice hand written card, this cookbook she'll either love it or think its funny win-win. Some accessory ie. a scarf or sunglasses, hair or make up stuff, or these
Hope these helped!
That's really nice of you!
My mom used to send me health & beauty things - toothpaste, deodorant, nailpolish, tampons, shampoo. I loved it since I could spend my money on other things.
I'd also say magazines,Target giftcard. The scarf was a good suggestion.
I remember making care packages for my cousin when she was in college. We'd send cookies, candy bars, that Goober peanut butter/jelly stuff in a jar, laundry detergent, fun socks, comic books (it was the 90's lol).. I'd also write her every week while she was there.
I like the idea of sending quarters for laundry! We sent detergent, but never quarters lol
