Well, I am stuck at home waiting on my drama llama kitchen cabinets to be delivered. I am so freaking nervous that they are going to be all screwed up.
Second, did I tell you all that Dasher took a crap in my car? She did. We were blazing toward Dallas at around 100 mph on Thursday night - for one thing, my cutesy little Hyundai Elantra was not made to go 100 mph, I thought the poor little girl was going to fall apart. Dasher started acting kind of kooky and all of a sudden a HORRIBLE smell filled the car. DH said "Dasher, I hope to God you only farted." Um, no, she crapped this huge pile and thankfully it was on the floorboard and not the seat. Poor little girl - you could tell she felt bad. We got to our friend's house and put her and Duke (our friend's dog) in the utility room to sleep and Dasher took a sh!t on him. I think she is feeling better now but man, that was embarrassing.
Third, we finally got Dasher spayed. She appears to be doing well. Right now she is cuddled on the couch next to me. ![]()
Re: Random Ramblings
Can't stop laughing @ your DH's comment to Dasher! Nothing like doggie doo doo trapped in a car!
I'm glad you are doing your part in controlling the pet population!
Oh man... did you drive the rest of the way with your heads hanging out the window? I remember doing that when I was a kid and our dog pooped (twice) in the backseat.
Glad she seems to be doing better, and glad you got her spayed! Give her a good hug for me when you get home.

Oh, I should point out - she took her dump around Lewisville. We pulled off the interstate in this seedy part of town. DH took her on a little walk to see if she needed to go more. Man, she had a nice spring in her step, I was a little jealous. We had NOTHING to use to clean up the poop.
So, I got in my suitcase and used my nightshirt. It was an old ratty sorority t-shirt but about 15 years old and oh so comfy. There was a trashcan nearby so I threw it away. Sad face.
One of our dogs did that once. We had just left FIL house (and after letting the dogs roam for about 10 mins so it wouldn't happen in the car); thankfully we had a blanket down in the back seat so we pulled into a gorcery store and threw the blanket in the trash can. I am sure everyone at 122nd and Penn were wondering why we had horrible looks on our faces.
