Anyone want to help me w/ some really basic religion class questions?
I am taking a class, Reading the Old Testament, and I am sort of embarrassed to admit this, but I know NOTHING. Seriously.
Anyway, I have to write a 5000 word paper summarizing the things we've learned so far. I've taken notes, but I've gotten myself confused as to order and stories. So, if I were to type out the topics, could someone tell me if they are in the correct order, and give me a brief description of each?
Tiff-feel free to do them ebonics style if you want. I saved the ones you did before.

On this section is where I am more confused. When in class, I thought I got it, but now I don?t know if it's in order, or if I am splitting it out too much. If its not toooooo much to ask, if you could write like a sentence as to what each one is to jog my memory, and what the transitions are.

Joseph in jail:
Joseph was sent by his father to see how his brothers who were tending flocks were doing. His brothers seized the opportunity to do away with this younger and arrogant sibling. They threw him into a pit and intended to leave him and tell their father that he was attacked by some beast and killed. However, Judah talked them out of this plan and they sold Joseph into slavery instead. (Genesis 37:18-28)
Joseph is taken to Egypt where he is sold to a wealthy man named Potiphar. Joseph is put in charge of all of Potiphar's holdings and increases his master's wealth. But, Potiphar's wife takes a liking to Joseph and tries to seduce him. Joseph tells her that to do as she suggests would be a sin against God. She pursues him nonetheless and finally Joseph has to run from her to get away. She accuses him of trying to rape her and he is put in jail. (Genesis 39:1-20)
Ahhh, that does ring a bell. It's a standard undergrad lecture class (which I am not used to, my accelerated classes are more interactive) and he covers so much so fast and I have a hard time catching/understanding it all.

How long is your class? I may have some of my old notes if you want to borrow them.
I'm almost done with my email to you-- you should have it soon
Christmas. And I have 2 more papers to write, one of them being interpretive. Yea, if you have some, that would be great. I can use all the help I can get!
