Re: POLL: Alarm Clock

  • I have an alarm clock, set to radio because I can't stand the beep beep beep sound. However, I rarely hear it go off because I'm usually already up with Alex when it goes off. H uses the alarm on his watch on the days we don't wake up at the same time.
  • I do but my internal clock usually wakes me up about 8 minutes before it goes off every morning.
  • The alarm clock is like back-up for me too.

It goes off at 7:15, usually Z is up right at 7 or my internal clock gives me a few minutes fair warning.

  • My internal alarm usually wakes me about an hour- 90 mins before Natalie wakes up, but if I'm especially tired or want the extra sleep, she wakes me.

  • I have 2. I suck at waking up. iPod alarm clock, then the alarm on my cell goes off. And I usually snooze for at least 30 mins. See, I suck. I'm assuming once the kid is here that I'll be able to wake up a little easier!

  • I use my cell phone with a gradual alarm setting so I don't get scared sh!tless out of bed with a "BEEP BEEP BEEP".

I also snooze for 30 mins or more most days. I set my phone alarm (usually for 7 and 7:05), and DH has a traditional alarm set for 7, which goes off every 10 minutes when he hits snooze. We also sleep with our bedroom window open - I hope we don't wake our neighbors.

  • Yes, but it almot never goes off since DH wakes me 2-3 times beforehand (his alarm/getting up, him getting dressed, etc).  If he doesn't wake me, Jane does.
  • I'd never wake up on time without my alarm. Actually, DH's goes off about 15 minutes before mine since I started going to the gym before work, so I could probably rely on him to wake me up if I needed to. When I don't go to the gym, though, I sleep about an hour later and need my own alarm because he's gone by then.

  • I don't set *AN* alarm, I set four.

I used to set only three, but then H and I slept through them all one day this summer and he was late to work.
