Re: POLL: PDA

  • I'm a 1. I hate when he touches me and other people are around, even at home.

He's more of a 3. He'd like to show some PDA, but not "get a room" style

  • DH and I are not touchers. We will maybe hold hands, but not for long, and there is always the occassional @ss slap....

I thought of this because BIL/SIL need to get a room. They make me sick with their affection - nobody loves their husband that much.

    Same here!

  • In public-public?  Hold hands, maybe.  In front of others (family / friends) he'll cuddle a little on the couch if we're watching a movie or something - like lie down with his head in my lap.  That's about it.

We're the opposite. He's totally fine with holding hands in public, but if I go in for a hug or a kiss, he gets embarrassed or something wacky like that. He'll do it once, but if I push for an extra peck or something, he acts weird.

Oh, and he hates slow dancing. It kills me.

  • We show affection violently in public a lot lol. We'll get into pinch/punch/flat tire fights in the grocery store all the time that probably make other shoppers hate us.

We don't make out lovingly in the bakery or anything though.

    Happiest place on Earth!

  • This was always a problem when I was teaching because I live in a small county and even though I didn't live in the neighborhood where I taught, I ran into kids all the time. DH is obsessed with my a$$ and would grab it all the time if I allowed it. I was always worried about students seeing it though. He would give me a yeah right until I was yelling at him (again) for doing it and we heard "Hi Ms Lastname". Now he saves the a$$ grabs for home but kissing, yeah we do that anywhere.

  • We're occasional touchers.  He might put his hand on my back or rub my shoulder & I do the same.  But we're not hand holding types.  Or making out in public types.

  • We sometimes hold hands, he might put his arm around me while walking, and there's the occasional ass smack while around those closest to us.
