What do you wish you registered for?
Hi Nesties,
I need your help for the magazine. I want to know what wedding gift/item that you regret not registering for or wish you had received? For example, "I didn't register for a garlic press, but after I bought one for myself, it changed my life."Please post it below (feel free to explain), and include your first name-only and wedding date.

I actually registered for TOO MANY items and I feel as if it kept me from getting some of the things I actually really wanted/needed very badly. If we had cut back on some of the excess, we probally would have gotten the full set of pots and pans we really can't afford to buy!

Right there with you - as I slowly but surely purchase every piece of All Cald Stainless Steel pots and pans, I wonder why I didn't think to register for them (or at least one!) I love them and would have given up a few sets of towels and bedding to get them instead
Dish towels, strangely enough. Not something I ever would have thought to put on the registry, but I wish that I had more - maybe because my mother, with whom I lived before getting married, had about two dozen.
Knives/forks/etc. We didn't register for them because DH said he already had some, but the ones he has suck, basically. I had to throw away all of the "regular" knives because some gummy gunk got stuck in the teeth, and the steak knives are getting discolored.
We still don't have an iron or ironing board! Can you visualize what we're looking like?
Let's just say our dry cleaning lady is loving us right now. We need to buy one fast!! Or maybe...someone will buy one for us!
Ryan and Nellene married: July 22, 2009 in Calistoga, CA in front of a tiny group of family and few friends. It was perfection!
This- we have my dish towels from college (yes, they're nice) but no new ones and they are awesome (Kitchen Aide waffle knit- not sold anymore). I should have thought about changing colors/ seasons or at least gotten some neutrals.
We also didn't register for flatware/ serving ware all because we didn't find one we liked initially- that'd be something to search online for and add- matching utensils would be so nice!
Finally, storage- baskets, bins, laundry pieces that match. All of the functional college stuff remains in my home and I wish I at least got some nicer pieces I could add to versus nothing and knowing we're not completing a set but creating it now.
