I just want to say thank you all for the kind words and advice. Congrats to all of you on your first year of marriage. I look forward to many years with my new husband.
We plan on spending the next couple of years travelling before having kids. We want to go to Italy and Russia, along with little trips here and there.

I don't know as I have a favorite memory from the past year. We're goofy together, so we've got a lot of good memories.
Since we've gotten it back, we've watched our wedding video once. I got an anxious feeling in all the same spots I had that feeling on the same day. Kinda strange.
We went on a trip for our anniversary, instead of giving gifts, although I did give him a diary that I had kept about us since our wedding day.
What is your most favorite memory from this past year?
I think I just like the memory that it was a happy first year. Going from engaged to married was a pretty seamless transistion and I am glad we have good memories to reflect on.
How often do you watch your wedding video?
We watched it once the night we got the completed video and I watched parts of it when I was showing it to my mom and MIL. We will watch it again on our anniversary I know. And I will cry again I know.
What kind of gifts are you giving for your 1 year anniversary?
I bought DH tickets to a show he wants to see when it comes to town. I know he plans on sending me flowers at work (I love that he sends me flowers, but I will admit I also love that the other women at work are envious) I am also doing boudoir pictures this weekend.
What is your most favorite memory from this past year?
Just being married and having a great first year. Buying our first house is also a good memory.
How often do you watch your wedding video?
We didn't get one done.
What kind of gifts are you giving for your 1 year anniversary?
We went to NYC for the long weekend. Our traditional "paper" gift was tickets to see How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, which was fantastic.

We have had a lot of good ones. The day we got our positive pregnancy test was a big one though. It has been a wonderful year and I definitely have to echo Christie when she wrote "I think I just like the memory that it was a happy first year. How often do you watch your wedding video?
We haven't watched ours yet. My cousin taped our wedding and we are still waiting on our copy. She got pregnant less than a month after our wedding and had a difficult pregnancy so we aren't in a rush.
What kind of gifts are you giving for your 1 year anniversary?
We kept it pretty simple since we have a baby coming early next year. We decided a nice treat would be to go to DH's college football homecoming game (Oct. 29) and we had a very nice dinner out at The Melting Pot. DH also got me a single rose to commemorate our first year.
Oh I didn't get to say Congrats yet...so Congratulations!
As far as the other stuff goes:
What is your most favorite memory from this past year? There's so many, but we bought a house, adopting our dog, being ridiculously obnoxious together.
How often do you watch your wedding video? We didn't do one.
What kind of gifts are you giving for your 1 year anniversary? I bought him a new piantball gun, and he planned an entire day from watching the sun rise at the top of the mountain to heading to the zoo, and ending it off with a nice dinner.
What is your most favorite memory from this past year?
The first year has been kind of crazy for both of us. DH got a job in a different town 3 hours away a week after our honeymoon so he moved. Then I spent time finding a job in the same town while having to pretend to my friends and coworkers that DH was living with me (I didn't want my job to know I was looking obviously), so the holidays weren't too fun because I felt lonely and so did he and I didn't decorate our old apartment or anything. Then I finally moved out with DH in March when I found a new job, and now we're looking for a house. So honestly, I think my best memory was the honeymoon because it was before all the craziness started and we didn't think about it at all. And now I think it's carpooling to work every morning, it's nice to have 15 minutes just to talk before the day starts. But I'm really looking forward to our last move for a while in January when we move into our house. I think we will both finally feel settled and can really start creating memories. whew sorry for that long winded response.
How often do you watch your wedding video?
We've watched it a few times, just us and once with my parents. We probably won't watch it for our anniversary just because we watched it kind of recently.
What kind of gifts are you giving for your 1 year anniversary?
DH is getting me a book about cat behaviors (long, inside joke/story) and I'm getting him a book of bpics I had taken. We both wanted to stick with the paper theme. We're also going to Mexico for a week at an AI, so that's our big gift to each other. I figure plane tickets = paper?

What is your most favorite memory from this past year?
Felix and I did not live together before we got married (we "waited"), so moving in and simply staying the night together was very special for us. It has been an amazing year that far exceeded anything I expected in so many different ways! :-)
How often do you watch your wedding video?
We didn't get one.
What kind of gifts are you giving for your 1 year anniversary?
Instead of material gifts, we're going to spend a weekend in Tampa/St. Pete and see Andrea Bocelli in concert. It's actually not until the first weekend in December, but it will be worth the wait!

What is your most favorite memory from this past year?
Our best friends had their first baby in January. That same month, Keith's brother and his wife found out they'd be able to get custody of the baby they are going to adopt (she was born on Christmas). So my best memories of the year are seeing them grow and my most favorite thing is seeing Keith interact with them. We don't get to see our neice a lot, since they live a few hours away, but we see our friends' baby at least once a week. It's amazing how fast they grow!

How often do you watch your wedding video?
We didn't have a professional wedding video done. Keith's uncle took some video, but we haven't watched it yet.

I had boudoir photos done and he is getting me an anniversary clock.
