Happy Greysday? Ha.
Another day closer to the weekend.
Somehow I have to manage to sleep tonight. Our U/S (NT scan!) is at 10:30 tomorrow morning. I'm not looking forward to the full bladder thing, but I am looking forward to a morning hanging out with Derek.
Did anyone else upgrade their iDevices to iOS5 last night? It took forever, but some of the things are neat. Sadly my 3GS doesn't get all the functionality, but it's still pretty good. And apparently is supposed to help my version run faster? We shall see.
How is everyone today?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Happy Thursday!
Good morning! Raynes, how exciting--keep us posted!
Last night was pretty quiet. After a visit to the condo office (without any answers, too), I made dinner and just relaxed until Josh sent me a text that he was on his way home. I picked him up at the station since it was raining on and off. We chatted for a while, then went to bed as early as possible.
I have no idea what we're up to tonight--maybe just make some pasta with scallops for dinner, then just read for the rest of the evening. It could be a gym day, but I'm not feeling especially motivated.
Have a great one, all.
raynes- I haven't ever had to deal with u/s, but my mom has had six children and she told me a while back that the whole full bladder thing is a scam. just make sure you don't pee for an hour or so and you should be good. There was actually a few times where he bladder was too full and they asked her to pee just a little bit out, which is a wee bit impossible when you are so far along.
Today is going to be busy. Can I just say I am really looking forward to Friday sometime after 4:45. I just want to have some tea, and sit and read.
Happy Thursday!
We were pleasantly surprised when we took Darian to the doctor's office for another vaccination and learned that this one only need to be administered orally, NOT by injection. He downed it like a champ. Even the nurse was surprised how much he liked it, LOL.
V had to go downtown after the appointment for a work-related seminar so we took the opportunity to go drop off a whole bunch of unneeded maternity clothes at a teen mom centre downtown, which I've been meaning to do for a while. (These were hand-me-downs which either didn't fit me or NMS.) Then we had lunch at a Thai place nearby and OMG it was the best Thai food I've ever had. Nom.
Not much planned for today, probably grocery shopping. Possibly updating my iPhone, which I didn't get around to yesterday.

Good morning, ladies.
Thursday already? I need to get busy (but I don't want to).
Have a great day, everyone!
raynes - How exciting! Good luck today!
I have my first doctor appointment today...I am nervous/excited. DH and I are going out to dinner afterwards to celebrate.
Before dinner, someone is coming to our house to give us an estimate for a new furnace. The one we have now is the original one (about 50 years old), and needless to say it is not exactly energy efficient.
I had a super relaxing day at home by myself yesterday while DH took Jackson to work with him. I'm a little surprised he worked a whole day with the baby there. He does have a lot of people in his office, so I have a feeling it was a "pass the baby" kind of day.
Tonight will be Grey's and Private Practice, probably watching from bed. I'm trying to get into more of a routine of an early bed time since I'm up so early in the mornings now. I've been up since 530, which made me find all sorts of stuff to do this morning until I could leave the house. My hair is actually down and done this morning. Everyone keeps asking me if I went to the salon last night. Errrm no. I just don't have it all pulled into a ponytail for the millionth time this week.
Happy Thursday everyone! I woke up with a wicked headache this morning, and while it has gotten better it's still lingering so I'll try to head out early from work. Otherwise, busy day in the office followed by a quiet evening at home. Leftovers on the menu which makes for an easy dinner and a happy me!
Good luck with the doctors appointments raynes and rayne!
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
LOL... truth. For my first u/s, they told me to drink something ridiculous like 32 oz of water. I managed maybe 24 oz, threw most of it up just before the appointment, but they told me everything looked perfect. Just drink enough to feel a little uncomfortable but don't make yourself burst.

Good to know. The website for the clinic says 1L 1 hour before, which should be fine, as long as I time my drinking and peeing well before that!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
I'm now really craving Thai food, ringy
Unfortunately my favorite place in town is way too far away from my office for me to get there over my lunch hour.
Last night was busy. I got home and did some light cleaning. Then I began moving all of the stuff out of our dining room. When Kyle got home we tore the carpet out of the dining room. We knew that the animal(s) (we're still not sure which one) were using it as a bathroom, but wow. We tore it up and it was embarrassing to say the least. We're hoping that once the smell is gone the problems will stop, but one possibility is that the dog is just getting too old and is going to have accidents regardless. I really hope that this solves our problems though. I also made chocolate peanut butter pretzel balls and OMG are they awesome! Similar to buckeyes but with pretzels.
Tonight I still have a few things on my to-do list but I also plan on watching some TV and taking it easy.
Raynes - Like everyone else said you shouldn't need a full bladder. I did it, and was asked if I had to go before the u/s started. So it was a waste for me to drink all that water. Good luck we'll be thinking of you.
Lasnight I was sleeping right after Survivor. I was so tired.
Today the weather is rainy and cool, and I would much rather be home snuggling with all my boys watching movies, but unfortunately I'm stuck here.
Have a great day ladies.
Raynes- I don't know if you need a full bladder or not, but I'm excited for you! Can't wait to hear how perfect the little peanut is!
Today I meet our new District Manager for the first time... I'm a little bit nervous because I haven't been in the store since 5:30 on Tuesday and I go in at 1 today... I hope the store looks good!
I work tomorrow morning, and then we're driving to my hometown (3 hours) late tomorrow night when DH gets out of the football game. It's my Granny's 84th birthday party and all 52 family members are flying/driving in from all over the country.
Good morning. I went out for a delivery today, and I'll be leaving shortly for a meeting. Hopefully it will make the day fly by.
Yesterday was dreary and I went to the grocery store with DH. Then came home and made a no boil pasta bake that was pretty good. The only thing that stunk was DH wasn't feeling good and by the time it was ready he had fallen asleep on the couch. I ate dinner and crept around until he woke up enough I could tell him to go to bed.
Randomly this morning he ate my dinner for breakfast and said it was great. I'm not a chicken pasta person for breakfast but I'm glad he liked it.
Good luck Raynes!
AuntB I hope the store looks great.
DH and I went on a short walk after work since it was the first day in over a week it wasn't raining. We went walking near the locks, and saw a whale! Of course then I got my camera all ready and it never surfaced again.
After our walk, we went home and made sriracha burgers and caught up on some DVR until we both passed out on the couch.
It was one of those day yesterday. I am dealing with a rather messy situation at work, which is partially my fault, but I still don't appreciated being treated like poo. I am so ready to be done at that agency.
Sparky got bit by dog when C was walking him yesterday, it cut him right through the lip. He had surgery last night and appears to be doing okay this morning. That vet bill hurt though.
On the way home from the vet we go rear ended. Thank goodness there as not damang to the car or us.
I hope today is going to be better. My baby brother is turning 21 at midnight so I am going to take him out and get him drunk like any good sister would do..
Last night My crockpot recipe tunred out great so It was an easy night for me. It rained yesterday afternoon so I didn't get to go walking, but I am hoping to make up for it today.
I am doing good today but super swamped at work. I have work piled everywhere. DH's work had a lay off this morning so he is sorta sad for one of the guys that got laid off because he really liked him. Other than that he is glad they got rid of the "lazy ones." They always do a lay off about this time. They hire a good many people then about 3 or 4 months later they have a lay off and get rid of the ones that don't show up half the time.
Good morning ladies. Last night was pretty relaxing. I caught up on a few DVR shows and did some laundry. Tonight should be the same. I didn't take anything out for dinner though so we'll probably have something simple like burgers or chicken nuggets.
I'm still training with the new guy in his office so I won't be around much today. Hope everyone has a great day.
Last night I was on call but went to bed a 9:30pm since I had not gotten any calls. Yay! But...then I got paged at 10pm. Boo.
Today is my fake Friday. I tried to do as little as possible at work today and feel like I was pretty successful at that. My intention was to go to the gym right after work but I've got a pretty bad headache and knots and pain in my neck so now I'm hanging out with my heating pad.
Hopefully I get to bed nice and early again tonight. I've been exhausted lately.
Today pretty much blows. We 're going to really have to figure out how we are going to survive financially. Everything our governor put in to place to screw over public workers is now in place. I bring home $400 less each pay check then I did last year as a new teacher than I do as a teacher with a Masters +36 credits (highest pay level). Thanks to his new legislation. With a child, and now having to repay student loans I have zero savings and still have to come up with money for the grad classes I need to keep my job, Myles' adoption/legal fees, and everything else.
Wow I'm a downer today.
Let's see 1 good thing: I got nothing.
