good morning, happy thursday!!
sorry i've been MIA...i was given a ginormous project the other day that has huge impact on the area around here and i n.e.e.d. to get it done on time, if not early... on top of that, my computer decided to crash this morning! so all the work i put into it yesterday is GONE! i have a few things i need to take care of first things in the morning, so i'm working on that, and then i need to figure out how to get my data back. the part i'm most pissed about right now, is losing all my screen shots of every clicky we've had for about 8 months! that was a LOT of work, and i don't want to lose that! haha.
melting pot GTG tomorrow. i seriously don't remember what time i had said...i think 5:30? i don't really have time to dig into it right now, so maybe someone that knows, fill anybody else in that's interested (but no weirdos allowed). i'll check in tonight, promise!

I have a doctor's appointment shortly and then back to work and I have to teach a Nursing class this afternoon. They are researching info on how to care for patients of different cultures. The librarian who used to teach this class retired so it's my first time. I hope it goes ok.
I skipped ballet class last night and watched a movie with the hubby. It was nice.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
I'm pissed off at the world this morning. Hopefully something turns this around today.
In other news - we saw a whale at the Locks last night! Everyone waited and waited for it to surface again but it didn't.
I hate days that start like that. Hope it gets better!
I was in a couple very long presentation/meetings yesterday. Working from home today to let the pup roam a bit vs. being in his crate all day. I don't know what the hell was going on, but all these various alarms kept going off during the night last night and I ended up being woken 3 different times - really annoyed me and now I'm kind of tired from the interrupted sleep!
Oh well, 1.5 days then the weekend. Happy Thursday, everyone!!

Yesterday I had inconsistent contractions for yesterday afternoon until bed. I didn't really expect to be at the computer this morning, but alas here I am. I have a doctor's appointment around 11am. Hopefully she'll tell me this baby will be here soon. Trying to decide what I am going to do today. I'm leaning towards wandering around Target for about an hour. We'll see.

I'm feeling all funky today (and not in a good way). My neck is sore (and I haven't done anything that would have caused it), and I've felt nauseous since yesterday evening (but haven't puked). I'm contemplating leaving work early... lord knows I have enough PTO to use

I'm kind of a grouch today... We got a parking ticket when we were visiting friends in Seattle over the weekend (the sign saying permits are required between the hours of X and Y was completely illegible) that i paid this morning and it made me grouchy, all over again. And Seattle's parking tickets are pricey! And the weather is blah... if they sky is grey, something should be falling from it, or it should at least be windy. Now i'm off to get an emissions test for the car, and buy its tabs. Volunteering this afternoon should be better, though.

Started working on making a pattern to sew DH a pair of lederhosn. I traced off his jeans that fit the best and cut it out of a sheet that had shredded. Basted together, but ended up being too small. Sigh. Oh well, at least THIS time I am being wise and mocking it up out of scrap fabric first rather than just diving in on the expensive fabric. Bah, our house is NOWHERE near ready to have our housewarming party on the 22nd! We have more than a weeks' worth of work just to make it look decent and on top of that, have his lederhosn to invent along with my blouse to invent/sew. And usually I spend half a week alone just prepping all the food! We'll make it though, somehow.
Speaking of which, if you want an invite to our Oktoberfest/Housewarming party, just let me know! Since it's an FB invite (so much easier since I have almost everyone there rather than hunting down and collecting the missng emails to do an eVite), PM me with your FB contact info so I can add you as a friend and send you the invite!
oh no! I was hoping you hadn't paid it yet because I was going to say you should contest it. One time I did that, went back and took a picture of the illegible sign and got it reduced a ton. Hopefully it doesn't happen again, but just an FYI in case anyone has this happen!

I did all of mine by mail - for things like this I don't think you actually have to go to court (at least I didn't, but it's only happened once). They just sent me a thing to fill out, write about it and I included the pictures.

Afternoon! I have a neurology appointment today and then DH and I are cleaning the house. We are having some people over tomorrow night and we REALLY need to steam clean the carpets. They are disgusting. I blame the dog.
