Update on Shannon: got an appt
We finally got an appointment for a consultation with the pediatric surgeon at UMass to look at her umbilical hernia and determine whether she should have the surgery now, or hold off until she either has more problems (fortunately she hasn't complained about pain in her bellybutton since a couple weekends ago) or turns 4yo and it doesn't close on its own (which it won't... the hole is still too big and hasn't closed any).
The consult is scheduled for Friday, October 28th at 1pm. I will keep you all posted.
Re: Update on Shannon: got an appt
good luck!
I know you probably know this, but that time of day is horrible for finding a place to park in the garage, so you may want to give yourself even more time to get in. Unless of course you're doing valet, then it makes no difference.
I'm glad you got an appointment! Very glad to hear that the pain went away, too, especially since she won't be seen for 2 more weeks. Fingers still crossed!
It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!
