Thursday
That means Friday is almost here! (This is a terrible attempt at starting a post)
What is everyone doing today/tonight to get the day over with? I am working then going out to dinner with some friends. Tomorrow is my last day at my current job, and also the last time I will have to make my commute out to Grafton.

I had Monday off, so I keep feeling off on my days. I'm glad tomorrow is Friday! Today I am just trying to keep dry. My pants finally dried out from my walk to work this morning.
That's so crazy that tomorrow is your last day. Are you scrambling trying to get everything done, or does it not matter since you would have been out of a job at the end of the month anyway?
I had Monday off too, and I was off on my days too. Oh well, the price we pay for a free day.
It is crazy. I still can't believe it! I am not so much scrambling because, as you said, I would've been out of a job. But my boss is throwing work at me like crazy. He must want to use up my services as much as he can before I leave.

It's such a yucky day out and it was so hard to get out of bed in the dark this morning. I have a million and one things to take care of but really just want to crawl back into bed and cuddle up with DH.
Not for me - this week is draaaaaaaaaaaging. I can't wait for it to be the weekend. except that I am dreading the Sunday night dinner I have for my grandfather's birthday, so maybe it can just be Saturday twice this weekend.
Jack jumped up on my bed this morning when I was struggling to force myself to get out of bed, and he looked at me with that sad poocher face. I was thisclose to calling out sick. It's gross out, and work is deadly for me right now, and not getting any better any time soon.
My week is dragging too. Thought it was Thursday yesterday which didn't help. I love your idea about having Saturday twice. I am totally down with that, 100%.
Your pup sounds adorable, and I can totally relate. When Simon is tired and doesn't want to wake up I think about staying home and cuddling with him all day.

Fvcking wedding drama.
I am going to drink an entire bottle of wine tonight. That's what I am doing.
I have to take the Mini in for a quick service because there is this rattling noise I have been hearing inside the car that is slowly driving me insane.
The job I am dying for called my references today and told me I am a finalist, so if things go well, hopefully I will be packing up my shiz this weekend for the move. I am a nervous wreck.
Also, my parents found out that their beloved pup Remy has cancer and it is not looking good, so I am going to go up there and help them this weekend with anything they need and also just lend my support. They are pretty devesated because about 4 years ago, my father almost died from renal failure and a few months later my mother donated a kidney to him. Remy was the one who laid with them everyday during the recovery and was the warm body that gave them love when they needed it the most. My father is especially having a tough time. They have had just really bad luck lately with a lot of things, so this was kind of just the icing on the cake.
DH comes home next weekend, so this weekend is pretty low key. I am going to try to spend time with friends as well.
Pup I read about Remy on the Pet board. That is so sad, I am so sorry for your family and for poor Remy. However, your mom is very selfless and brave to donate one of her kidneys to your dad. That is true love.
Congrats on being a finalist, and good luck!!
Want some company? I have so much wedding stress right now a good glass of wine would do me good. Guess I can probably wait until my bachelorette Saturday for drinking though...

Sorry to hear about your parent's pup!
Thanks! It was so hard at the time to have both of them in surgery and know that I could lose both parents. I also have a 16 year old sister who I needed to worry about. But, everyone came through excellently and my father is healthy and happy as is my mother.
Punky, sorry you are having drama. Weddings seem to bring out the worst in people.
mfmenchi- Have a blast at your bachelorette party! The wedding stuff will works itself out in the end.
I didn't want to get out of bed this morning either. The later sunrises are killing me. Does daylight savings start soon? I forget if that makes it better or worse.
Pup, I'm sorry to hear about Remy. I hope your parents are able to comfort him/her in illness like s/he did for them.
