We close in one week, one day.
Electric is getting done as we speak
We had enough credit left over that we are putting in a kitchen island and doing some upgrades to the kitchen (adding a dishwasher and new fridge and flooring).
and i packed our bedroom up this morning while wearing my wedding dress.
Re: One more week.
You are amazing! Can't wait to get that drink with you in the yunk!
Swear on my life... I was JUST thinking about writing this to you on here. I was looking at Milo's little photo blog thinger and I saw the link for your new house. I saw the 21st was the date but I didn't know if it had changed for anything.
That's great you can fit into your wedding dress! There is no way I can fit into mine at the moment. I can barely fit into my pp clothes as it is. My wedding dress was so 20 lbs ago.
Awesome about the credit and I'm glad you found someone to do the electric.
Don't worry heather i couldn't zip it all the way BOOBS. milo was so amazed and then he was like WAIT HOW DO I EAT AND climbed up on me while i was sitting and looked down the front like BOOBIES ARE YOU IN THE RUFFLES HELLO DOWN THERE!?
guys i am so freaking excited, our current home is slowly looking more and more like when we first move in, void of personality our signatures missing.
Yay for new adventures!
This is really exciting!
Funny, I tried on my dress two nights ago. I was trying on a bridesmaid's dress for a wedding this winter and I was curious to see if my wedding gown still fit. I got it on but couldn't zip it up over the girls. I actually was pretty impressed as I am quite a bit heavier then i was when I wore it. Sigh. I loved getting married.
eta clarity
My BM dress is also AA. It fits weird and the tulle on the inside pokes me.
I know those dresses typically run small but you don't look anywhere near a size 20!
Congrats again on the new house!
Lachute, I am so happy for you guys! I can't believe it's coming up so soon. I think we need a nestie GTG in the 'yunk, including a tour of the new house. When you're all moved and settled, of course ;-)
GL with everything!
What an idiot.
If you are a size 20, I'm an elephant. The ineptitude of bridal salon employees never fails to astound me.
Every time I move I hit up the liquor store for free boxes! They're the best for moving they're small enough that you don't overpack so they're easier to carry and some still have the bottle separators that work great for packing glasses.
I'm so excited for you! I hope your packing and settlement go smoothly. And I love that you wore your wedding dress whilst packing. That so reminds me of that Friends episode when Monica, Rachel and Phoebe sit around drinking beers in wedding gowns.
Future themed gtg idea???
Love this!! I'm going to need to wear clothes under mine though. Kind of like my halloween costumes when i was a kid. I never even had mine cleaned (it's still in a ball in Danica's closet) so I'm all up for boozing it up in it.
mine was totally dingy
