I called my uncle (U1) yesterday to wish him a happy birthday and to see how my other uncle (U2) has been doing (fyi - to try to make this less confusing, they are partners.) U1 sounded elated from the beginning of the phone call. Instead of saying "Hello" like most people, he answered "Lindsay, my dear! How are you!?! You were on my call list today!"
Anyway, they found out on Tuesday afternoon that the doctors have been giving us wrong information since August about U2's cancer. Apparently now it is a slow growning, completely treatable cancer, and MD Anderson Cancer Hospital is going to take him and treat him!
He has some testing today, then tomorrow they are flying to MI, and then leaving Sunday night because he has more testing on Monday.
My family is so thrilled. Such wonderful news! I'm not even mad at the doctor's who were giving us bad information for weeks.
I can't wait to see him this weekend. So much to celebrate!

Morning everyone, I had some in town this morning, so I stopped off at home real quick before I drive into work. I wish I could just stay here.
Amelia is three today!!! I can't believe my baby is 3 already, so crazy.
I've been a bad nestie lately, so happy belated b-day to Noah. He is so cute. And Wop, you baby is so cute. I love all the hair. I hope all is going well.

Ughh... an area police office was killed in the line of duty this morning. They haven't said yet, but someone posted in the comment section that it was a Walker PO.
I saw on mlive that it was a Walker PO. Killed while pursuing bank robbers. Bank robbers are dead too.
