I think I have paged you like 5 times in the last month, LOL.
Anyway, I just saw your holiday wishlist with the Garmin on there. I have the 305 and LOVE it. It's a bit bulkier than some of the new models, but it does the job...and does it well. I don't have any other models to compare it to, but the reviews are all raves.
I think the 405 has some weird quirks, but it's a much smaller watch than the 305. Sometimes I wish I had a smaller model, but at the end of the day my 305 is amazing.
I just thought I would share my review with you.
Re: *Allie*
I like being paged
.
I definitely have looked at the 305, but I am concerned about how big it is. I also like the 110 a lot because it's so much smaller (and, not going to lie, also like that it comes in pink), but it doesn't have AutoPause, which I think I'd use a lot because I run in an area where there are a lot of stoplights. Do you ever use the heart rate monitor? I've considered the 405, too. I've heard that it sometimes has a hard time acquiring satellites, though. Maybe 410 is the way to go (but of course, it's more expensive). Oh, decisions.
I don't even know what the autopause is, LOL.
The 110 was not even on my radar when I was in the market. I'm not sure why. The 305 and 405 were my two options for some reason. Based on reviews I went with the 305. Looking back, I probably should have researched a bit better. I LOVE that the 110 comes in pink. So, I'm right there with you on that.
I have yet to use the heart rate monitor. I have had it for almost a year. I have really been wanting to try out the HR monitor, but I keep forgetting to get it out of the box. One of my BFF's uses her's every single run and was very in tune with her HR during our first half. I had a run this week where I could just feel that my HR was out of whack (way too high) and I wished I had my monitor to see really how crazy it was going.
As far as the size - that was my big concern, but I don't even notice it's there anymore. It's really not that bad....I don't think anyway. It just looks like a small computer on your wrist. LOL.
