ok, so many of you know. another one bites the dust. but that's so not why i am posting. this is just too funny.
many of you may or may not remember keith's bride from BACK in the day. she and i were dress twins. her name is danielle and we've stayed close over the years. she got divorced quite a while ago.
"I'm just gonna say it - and hope it makes you at least crack a smile.
Our dress is eff'n jinxed...we should sue the bridal shop for emotional
damage."
HADN'T event thought of it. We met in person and realized we were dress twins at Sarah the amazing seamstresses office. omg.
Re: too good not to share
???
I'm sorry to hear that. (Hugs.) Where in NH are you going to be? I assume Kelsey is moving with you?
And that is pretty funny about the dress!
Wait, what? Huh?! First, I'm so sorry to hear the news. I knew the house was going on the market, but I missed that was the reason.
So what does that mean for K and J?
And yes, does the dress get a sacrificial burning or something now?
UGH it is a mess. serious awful didn't think it could get worse but it does mess.
on my soapbox for a minute I would like to say: "It will work out the way it's supposed to. Anyone who thinks marriage can be hard hasn't gone through separation and divorce. Cherish your marriage and work on it 1000% and if there has to be an end know it will be way worse than your worst day married. The hurt, and pain and transformation to people you don't recognize is beyond words."
just picture the worst and how ugly could get and i know it could get worse but i'd need a vivid imagination right now.
J and K
K is moving with me. J is being the strongest most amazing trooper ever. I wish I could just take her with me. We learned to tell her just one two if you must things at a time. So for a month she knew he was sleeping at his dads. Then she knew we went to NH for a while. This week she knows divorce and selling house and with that came us going to NH and her staying with daddy. The rest to be determined. He is moving to south thomaston once the house sells to his grandmothers for $550 and expected me to stay here. well lately he's agreeing to let me go. so i am going to live with my mom for a while and set up shop.
i loved my dress! but it's sooooo funny.
I'm so sorry, Jen. I wish that I had something profound to say that could in some way help, but I know enough to know there is nothing that I could say.
I hope that you can find some healing out with your Mom. It is a gorgeous time of year out there.
My hugs, thoughts, and prayers are with you and K (and J, too).
Your dress was awesome. I remember I tried it on at David's and loved it.
I'm so sorry you all are going through this. ((hugs))
I had no idea either, Jen. It sounds like you have a very clear head and are being really strong about it, but I can't even imagine how difficult it must be with a daughter and step-daughter. Your advice was really on-target, and thank you for that.
How freaking crazy that you both had the same dress though!! I also remember it from the pictures, and it was beautiful. You should post a review online or something and scare the little brides away

Ahhh, Julia is the one who breaks my heart in this. What a trooper that kid is.
I've told you how I feel about you. The way you're dealing with this is amazing.
And oh, that reference to Sarah was such a blast from the past!!! Seems like a thousand years ago.....
okay, you piqued my curiosity. PM, please.
