Re: WTF Thursday

  • WTF why would you schedule tub reglazings which involves removing pieces of the drain etc and takes 24-48 hrs to dry, and then schedule to be off work so you aren't there to survey the job after it dries, or more importantly reinstall the components for the people to use their tubs!!!!  Now they will have to deal for 4 days with it not as it should be because you're a moron. Way to go. I will be happy putting the on call forwarding to you today and hope you get a call and ruin your day off.

Wow that sounds mean doesn't it? Just shows my level of how PO'ed I am with this place.

  • WTF do insurance companies and Dr offices have to be so difficult? My RE called me today to tell me that when they called my insurance to verify coverage, my insurance co told them they don't cover infertility....which I knew. However, I was told by my insurance that they would cover the visit if it was diagnostic for a medical condition. When I explained this to the Dr's office, she told me the Dr will mark it as an infertility visit if that is discussed. The office visit is $250. At this point, I don't know if I'll be able to keep the appt or not. I'm feeling like I'll never have a baby and it's devastating.

Oh no, that is awful  :(  I hope things get figured out and you can go to your appointment.  And please dont feel devastated, it is frustrating but hopefully something will work out.  Do not give up hope!

  • WTF co worker, please do not come in here complaining that the engineers do your job incorrectly.  It is your job, you are too lazy to do it and we pick up the slack. We are not trained in instrumentation specific work, so if we dont do it exactly right then either do it yourself or dont complain.  Let me reiterate, it is actually YOUR JOB, not ours!

    Linds,

I would call the doctor's office again and say that you are going in to talk to him about PCOS. Yes, infertility is a symptom of PCOS, but there are many other things. Tell them if they will not check it as a visit about PCOS and not infertility, then you will go to another doctor. Believe me, there are doctors out there that will do everything they can to get this all covered!

:( HUGS!!!  I hope they can work with your situation.  Otherwise, you could always go to planned parenthood or another free clinic that is able to work around insurance.

WTF: My friend/neighbor texted me at 2 am yesterday that her water broke and she was headed for the hospital with her H (yay!). . . and I have not heard ANYTHING from her since!!!  I feel like it would be uncouth to call or text her if they are having problems or want some family time, but now I'm getting worried!

  • WTF Mother Nature, it's F A L L...meaning highs should not be in the 80s every day and I should not have had to turn my AC on again this week.  Please bring us some cooler weather, preferrably with highs in the 60s.  I'm sure I will regret this come winter, but still I'm ready for fall-like weather.

WTF customers.  Why do you give me the impression that you don't care when I call you.  If you don't want to be bothered, price your order(s) correctly and I won't have to call you.  Don't just say, "I'll get right on that" when you didn't even ask for a PO# or anything.

  • YTF is it that whenever somebody announces that they got engaged, the men immediately jump up and start whooping about a focking bachelor party???  Does anyone in the male species leave the age of 22???
