Shadowing
I am going to be shadowing a middle school principal next week. I'll read about the school beforehand. Other than pen and paper for notes and comfortable shoes, what else should I do to prepare? This is for one of my educational leadership courses. My teaching experience is at the community college level, and I know very little about middle schools.

Maybe think about what you're hoping to get out of the experience? Then you'll have an idea of what questions to ask, or just have a mindset of "absorbing the appropriate information.".
Is that a dumb suggestion? It's just what popped into my head.
