Don't laugh-- have you become overly sensitive since turning 30? Since having kids? I mean I guess I tear up easily but man a 40 second Johnson and Johnson commercial? I think I'm more sensitive now than when I worked in the hospital. Tell me it's normal:)

Re: Weird question
Stand up for something you believe in.
not when I turned 30 but since having kids, yes
i've always been a crier, embarrassed to say, but it's taken on new levels since becoming a mom.
now, anything having to do with a child dying (we just saw les mis, i was a mess) or watching a tv show where you hear the first cries after being born....wowee, pass the tissues!
Yes, but I have always been a crier, as well. One New Year's I was especially emotional (thanks to that glorious hormonal time of the month) and I started crying during an Oscar Meyer commercial. DH ran to another room of the house and grabbed this huge box of chocolate cookies and sat next to me with tissues and practically force feeding me chocolate.
That pretty much sealed the deal.
Oh, I'm a crier. I also cry during commercials.... gawd, the "dear sophie lee" google commercial is the worst!!!
My BIL and SIL practically lived with us before we were all married... they used to laugh every time the extreme home makeover show came on, because by the end of it I'd be crying my eyes out!
omg, i can't watch that show anymore because i blubbered during the whole.dang.thing. and puffy eyes on a monday morning are just not cute.
In a word - yes. For me, since having kids. I'm a complete mess because of this:

This reminded me of that show where they had the surprise homecoming of service men and women - I just couldn't watch it, I would cry the ENTIRE time.
i had a bad break up in college where i cried for extended period of time. i would never have considered myself a crier before then. now....forget it
1) the google commerical with that start with going to france and then how to build a crib...OY....and CHia, we are not even going to discuss sophie lee. i looked at DH after that one once sobbing nd said OMG let's have a kid. (it passed quickly)
and the dog commericals with Sarah song over it...OMG.
and damn you arts! i teared up at my desk.
i am definitely gotten into the "crying when happy" mode too as i get older.
