it's raining, it's pouring...
We're having lovely downpours here today, and honestly I don't mind it. It's dark, the sound of the rain is soothing, and I can't wait to go home and snug.
So, you're faced with a rainy day with absolutely nothing to do, no obligations, nada -- how would you ideally spend the time?

{My Blog}
This sounds weird but I love to get stuff done around the house on rainy days. Laundry, dishes, dusting, etc...I hate doing that crap on nice days when I would rather be outside enjoying the weather.
If I had absolutely none of those things to do I'm all for curling up on the couch and watching movies and eating mac and cheese under a cozy blanket.
Stand up for something you believe in.
oh, how badly I want a day like this....
Definitely ditto the comfy pjs. If it's just me at home, I'm more likely to read a book. If H is home too, then we're downstairs doing a movie marathon. There's usually a pot of soup or chili on the stove and a batch of cookies or quickbread in the oven.
It's raining here today also and T and I just got back from her swim lessons so she is pretty tired. I plan on taking a hot shower and curling up in bed with my baby and relaxing.
I do have to throw some laundry in there at some point though.
Prior to baby I would take days like today to throw some good food in the crock pot, light some candles and lay on the couch and relax, read and nap whenever I wanted.
Yes!!! I would be a frequent customer too if such a thing existed.
I would work out for an hour uninterrupted, shower and read while munching on pretzels until I put the book aside for a long glorious nap.
