I have to say I am really loving this show.
I will honestly say that I was in tears anytime they showed Amanda in the children's psych ward crying for her daddy and begging to be let out. I am furious that Victoria would do that to the child of the man she loved. No wonder Amanda got out at 18 and thought her father was a bad man. They brainwashed the poor girl.
I really want Emily to end up with Jack. I dislike Daniel. And who the hell is this friend of Daniel's? I know he is his college roommate, but what is his angle? What does he have to gain by breaking up Emily and Daniel? Did Victoria call him?
I love Nolan.
I cheered when Dr. Melissa was in that storage container. Payback is a ***.
I felt terrible for Charlotte, but now I really think that she is Amanda/Emily's half sister (per a thread last week). Perhaps it pains Victoria to be near her/love her because she remind Victoria and Amanda/Emily's dad.

I am on the fence about the roommate....he is either interested in Daniel in a special kind of way or Victoria called him here to do whatever he could to get Emily out of the picture. It was so sad when they showed the flashback of Victoria going up the stairs with Emily (Amanda)'s dad and seeing that Amanda had seen her the whole time with the computer hand off.
I totally am on the Charlotte half sister kick. I also dislike Declan...he seems way too interested in money and not interested enough in his late fathers bar.

I agree. I never thought that Charlotte could be a half sister, but it would make sense. I'm also pretty sure that Emily isn't really interested in Daniel, but that he is part of her revenge plan.
I figured the roommate was just being a jerk because Emily doesn't have a long line of money in her family name. I never thought Victoria might have brought the roommate there to help out her cause.
I totally agree. I mean, we all know he ends up shot on the beach at their engagement party... but the wishful thinking part of me hopes that will change, even though I know it won't in the near future.

The roommate is just an ARSE. He either does have something for Daniel (romantically) OR he is a rich jerk who can't stand that Emily is an "outsider" and he can't party w/Danial all the time now that she's around.
Agreed, but I think Daniel is Amanda/Emily's form of revenge on Victoria. Victoria took away her dad, so Emily will take away her son. Eye for an eye kind of thing.
I think the roommate is gay with Karofsky mannerisms, or is so lonely that he is weirdly obsessed with Daniel and wants to control him.

I got that, too. Like he wants to keep Emily out of the picture bc she'll keep Daniel's money from him. I noticed he kept charging shots to Daniel's account at the bar. The roommate definitely has a strange angle he's trying to play.
Charlotte and Amanda/Emily being half sisters would be an interesting twist. I like that.
