This post really has no point, I just wanted to say how much I love TripAdvisor.com
I use it religiously when looking for hotels and restaurants and entertainment when I'm away. Plus I love to write reviews of where I have been and stayed.
Anyone else use this site? Or have a different one that they like?

I too love tripadvisor! They always seem to point us in the right direction, and help us find little gems when we travel. We really like staying at smaller, lesser know hotels and the site also helps when meal planning---abroad especially, where vegetarians aren't always so plentiful :-)
I also would like to add that they are so much more constructively critical overall than a site like yelp. Yelp has def helped me when looking for certain things locally, but the people with negative reviews tend to just want a place to whine I feel like, and not actually inform people of anything helpful. They all sound so dramatic too, "Buyer beware" oh give me a break!
I wish there were more sites like tripadvisor...are there???
I haven't found anything out there like it, but would be interested to know if there are others.
Back in NZ we had a really good restaurant review site, I used it all the time. Since coming to Aus I haven't found anything nearly as good for here.
Does anyone know if there are any dedicated restaurant review sites for the US?
I love trip advisor. I used it when we went on our honeymoon and then again when we went to las vegas in the spring.
I typically use Yelp.com for restaurant reviews.
