This is what I wrote today as a follow up to my interview this afternoon. I was hoping it would say 'driven' but I'm afraid it might say 'desperate.' What do you think? Any pointers on these? I e-mailed it because I'm pretty sure I was the last interview and they need to fill the spot pretty quickly. I didn't want to run the risk of it getting there the day after they made a decision. Thanks ladies.
I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for taking time out of their busy day to be part of my interview this afternoon. *school name* seems like a school that is truly dedicated to the success of it's students and a place where I would be able to grow as a professional. Please know that if I am chosen to fulfill the new First grade position that I am committed to the prompt establishment of a classroom. If permitted I would happily set up my classroom this weekend and be ready to welcome children on Monday morning. I would also appreciate the chance to hold a meet and greet with parents as quickly as possible to start building those relationships. Please do not hesitated to call or e-mail me if there is any additional information that I can provide to assist in the decision making. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
