TGIF! Weekend plans?

This week dragggged.

Today/tonight - cleaning the house and finishing the laundry I started last night.  The fridge needs cleaned soooo bad, but i'm not sure i'm that motivated today.  I also have to pack.

Tomorrow - DH and I are leaving bright and early to go to Pittsburgh.  We're stopping in Wampum, PA first to watch my brother's cart race and then we'll head to the ILs.  Not sure what we'll be doing tomorrow night, but hopefully it'll involve alcoholic beverages.

Sunday - more time with the ILs and then drive home.  I need to get groceries, but that might have to wait until Monday.  Since theres nothing to eat in the house, we'll probably order a pizza and watch a movie.

Re: TGIF! Weekend plans?

  • TGIF!!! I'm very glad I have today off of work.

Tonight: dinner and drinks with DH

Saturday: going to the OSU gamewatch with DH and my sister and then probably staying out for dinner and drinks afterwards

Sunday: watching the Browns game with DH

  • at some point this weekend, we are going to the Hot Air Balloon and Wine Festival. Plus, there is a really cool pumpkin patch close to the festival and we are making a stop there too.

Otherwise, I am sure there will be football watching, errand running and general house stuff squeezed in somewhere.

  • Tonight- We need to create plans. More than likely we'll probably just watch a movie.

Tomorrow- Spending the day at 6 Flags. We got a Groupon and haven't  been to the one out here yet. Should be a nice day :)

Sunday- Making hubby's lunches for the week, napping, etc.

  • Headed to my high school's homecoming game tomorrow in VA Beach and then to an informal 10-year reunion afterparty at a bar on the beach.

Should be interesting and hopefully fun!

  • Tonight:  Dinner at home, then off to the gym, and prob back home to fall asleep on the couch.  Yay Friday night.

Tomorrow:  Farmer's market in the morning, then we will probably spend the afternoon at Oktoberfest.  The german restaurant in town has it every year and it's lots of fun.  Pretzels, fries and beer.  Mmmmm!  That's really all we have planned for the day.

Sunday: To the gym again and maybe out to our favorite winery to use up a groupon-type deal there.  Doing the third round of our pumpkin beer tasting.  Yum!

We have to clean sometime in there, and also watch a bunch of DVRed stuff.

  • I'm glad the week is over... it's been stressful to say the least.

Tonight:  DH and I are going to haunted house

Tomorrow: putting up halloween decorations, planning party menu, watching all of the DVR'd shows that have accumulated in the 3 weeks we've been gone

Sunday: Laundry, might go outside and do some fall cleanup in the backyard - we have tons and tons of tree's so you can imagine all the leaves.

  • For a four-day week, it has certainly been a long one...

    Tonight:  Driving to DE.

Tomorrow:  Hang out with my niece and nephew, maybe go to the outlets in Rehoboth for a little fall shopping.  I suspect my father will also want to go look at cars (to replace DH's Jeep), even though we're not quite ready to buy anything just yet, but he really enjoys that sort of thing for some reason.

Sunday:  Lunch with a friend, watch the Redskins-Eagles game with DH (we have a longstanding bet on who will win these games), drive back to VA.

sunday: brunch & then i'm going to work (to be followed up with homework once I get home)

  • Tonight - Probably thai take-out, wine, and finish watching Project Runway

Saturday - Take my mom to the airport and then wait for DH to get home from his week-long trip. Leave DH with the kid while I do something - anything- relaxing for a couple of hours.

Sunday - Hopefully go to the fall festival at South Mountain Creamery, but it will depend on DH's schedule.
AlternaTickers - Cool, free Web tickers
  • tonight: running home from work to play with my new iphone!!! *happy dance* also pulled amatriciana sauce & meatballs out of the freezer for dinner. but mostly we'll both be playing with our new phones :)
tomorrow: sleeping in!! probably a little tidying up and laundry then walking around eastern market, getting DH a much-needed haircut, and perhaps dinner at ted's bulletin.
sunday: meal planning for the week, grocery shopping and may go get a mani-pedi in the afternoon.
after an epic weekend with friends last weekend and another set of friends visiting next weekend, we need some time to chill out.  happy friday!

  • Tonight- DH doesn't get in from a work trip till midnight so I have a date with the dog, project runway and if I can channel the energy I am going to start working on a life plan/goal thing.

Tomorrow- Food Road trip up to Harrisonburg VA with coworker and her roommate.  They have never been to Harrisonburg and I went to JMU so I am going to share my favorite eating spots, walk around campus and hit the Route 11 potato chip factory.  In the evening DH is having a friend over to watch the VT game and we will have BBQ that I picked up on the road trip.

Sunday- Coaching my participants in an 8K race in the morning, then DH and I are driving to Strasburg to go paintballing (we have open spots for a private session still if anyone wants to come!) then rest of afternoon will be spent with the ILs.

Doesn't look like cleaning or cooking is going to fit into the equation this weekend and thankfully I have been kicking butt at the gym this week because no time for workouts either, ha!

  • So glad I'm here this weekend and not in PA AND our kitty seems to be pulling through and getting better!

Today: Went to Jazzercise (I know you're jealous!), catching up on some of my business classes, and later will go to a wine tasting and acoustic happy hour at a wine store in Chantilly

Saturday: Cleaning and setting up for a band jam in our basement (all are welcome BTW, if you like your parties a little loud and mostly only classic rock is played)

Sunday: Putzing around the house and doing my last long run before our 10K next weekend

  • Tonight- dinner, doing a few organizational things like turning the dining room table around (we're still settling into the new place after almost 2 weeks).

Tom.- getting keys to our friend's place since we're watching her dog for a week, errands, women's group, hang out at home and hopefully tearing through the rest of the boxes and find a place for everything. Maybe grocery shopping too.

Sunday- church, lunch and meeting afterwards, then just making dinner and getting ready for the week.

Tonight: Calling my BFF. She found out today she's having a boy! :)

Tomorrow: Arranging flowers in the a.m. for church then a DC United game in the evening. I haven't been to one in forever!

Sunday: Football, etc. My fantasy team needs hellllllp.

Oh I know!  I have already driven by a few times this season going to VT games.  Since the JMU game is right when we are there, I doubt I will get too close to the stadium, but am very proud of how it looks!

It looks awesome, but I'm also a little sad/nostalgic. :( We are going back for the game vs. Rhode Island and we're in the nosebleed section! It isn't homecoming, or parents' weekend, or even a close rival, yet we can't even get close tickets (it's a larger group of us, but still)! What school is this?!!
