2. What was your favorite day/activity that was out of the ordinary at school? (i.e. plays, choir performances, play day, crazy dress day, etc) The giant pep rally on Thanksgiving Eve Day... classes chose a movie or theme and made a skit - it was a contest and it was awesome

3. What is your strongest common interest with DH? Food, sci-fi, comic book movies...

4. Do you subscribe to any magazines? If so what one(s)? Popular Photography, Woman's Health, Discovery, Wired, and Glamour

5. Plans for the weekend? laying low tonight... gym in the am, then a shoot, then an engagement shoot for some friends followed by dinner... sunday i have a baby shower (lol funny story - supposed to bring a book for library so we got them gift pack of Dr Suess... and the book "All My Friends Are Dead." lol as a joke.) on Sunday THEN PATRIOTSSSS!

1. If you were to get smashed in the face with a pie, what flavor would you like it to be? Lemon or Chocolate

2. What was your favorite day/activity that was out of the ordinary at school? (i.e. plays, choir performances, play day, crazy dress day, etc) Whenever we took a test in my economics class we had to dress in business attire. I did not enjoy the tests of course, but it was kind of fun to wear business attire at school.

3. What is your strongest common interest with DH? We have a lot! Science/Space (both aerospace engineers), we met playing volleyball, politics is a big one, we are both really into CrossFit, it is hard to pick from those.

4. Do you subscribe to any magazines? If so what one(s)? I get Aerospace America because of my membership in my professional organization if that counts.

5. Plans for the weekend? I am leaving work early to actually, finally go get my name changed. I have been dreading this, I hope the SS office is not too bad. Gym after that. GT football on Sat, then a BBQ at a friends. Sunday will probably be the gym and errands and such.

4. Do you subscribe to any magazines? If so what one(s)? I have a few that I got for free...Cosmo, Martha Stewart Living, Everyday Food and Food Network Magazine

5. Plans for the weekend? Tonight we are going to drive around the areas we'd like to move to and see what's for rent, tomorrow I am going to visit my friend and her new baby, Sunday we don't have any plans as of now.

2. What was your favorite day/activity that was out of the ordinary at school? (i.e. plays, choir performances, play day, crazy dress day, etc) the last day before Christmas break...we had class plays/skits and Santa came to visit

3. What is your strongest common interest with DH? probably sports, we both love to watch them...GO CARDS

4. Do you subscribe to any magazines? If so what one(s)? Good Housekeeping, Redbook (thinking about dropping), Taste of Home, Taste of Home Healthy Eating, and just ordered Cooking light

Plans for the weekend? tonight I have to run to Target for a few things, then hopefully watching the Cards win; tomorrow I may be making an unexpected trip to my parents to get a new water pump in my car, then not sure yet since DH is working/on-call this weekend; Sunday hopefully church then watching the Rams vs Packers game (the only time I root against the Packers) and the Cards game

What was your favorite day/activity that was out of the ordinary at school? (i.e. plays, choir performances, play day, crazy dress day, etc) Field trips! Who doesn't like getting out of class?3. What is your strongest common interest with DH? Video games. We like to play ones for kids though, like Pirates of the Caribbean Legos and Harry Potter Legos. 4. Do you subscribe to any magazines? If so what one(s)? National Geographic. I don't have time for my fashion mags anymore so I canceled them. 5. Plans for the weekend? Tomorrow our new dining set is being delivered and set up, laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping. Sunday, pumpkin patch! They have all sorts of activities and hay rides and I can't wait to pick out some good carving pumpkins!

2. What was your favorite day/activity that was out of the ordinary at school? (i.e. plays, choir performances, play day, crazy dress day, etc) Spirit Day/pep rally - i was on the dance team so it was the BESTTTTT performance of the year!

3. What is your strongest common interest with DH? Cooking. And beer. Hehe

4. Do you subscribe to any magazines? If so what one(s)? Bon Appetit; DH gets the economist and Rolling Stone and my friend always gives me her Women's Health when she's done with it so I think that counts too!

5. Plans for the weekend? Going to some german restaurant with our german neighbors for dinner tonight - should be interesting! Tomorrow GYM and then doing some shopping for the house and maybe a little early xmas shopping. Sunday I sincerely hope to do nothing except maybe sit by the pool.

1. If you were to get smashed in the face with a pie, what flavor would you like it to be? A chocolate pudding pie.

2. What was your favorite day/activity that was out of the ordinary at school? (i.e. plays, choir performances, play day, crazy dress day, etc) I always liked spirit week. There was a day that each class wore a different color and my friends and I would have a BLAST decorating shirts in that color every year and going crazy.

3. What is your strongest common interest with DH? Sports (alllll sports)

4. Do you subscribe to any magazines? If so what one(s)? US Weekly, Allure, ESPN, Entertainment Weekly, All You. I looove magazines and when I get an email from a deal website that it is only like 2.00 for a year subscription I jump right on it.

5. Plans for the weekend? DH has an event at work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday so I won't see him at all. I am going to try to not make any plans and just have some me time, as the next few weeks are going to be crazy. I offered to make a girl at work mermaid cosutmes for her daughters for Halloween so I might try and come up with something easy and see if she wants me to keep on it. I love doing that kind of stuff and it would be nice to help her out since she helps me out so much with everything.

1. If you were to get smashed in the face with a pie, what flavor would you like it to be? I would say cherry. Every year on the day of Homecoming none of us cheerleaders (or dancers) could speak one word unless to a teacher. Whoever got us to talk first, got to smash us with a whipped cream pie at the pep rally! One year I made it to about 7th period and a kid two years under me said, "Have you talked yet, Danie?"...I go, "Nope!" -Busted. Hahahaha! I never made it! Those who did though, got to choose any student or teacher to smash a pie in their face! 2. What was your favorite day/activity that was out of the ordinary at school? (i.e. plays, choir performances, play day, crazy dress day, etc) The last day of school was a riot here! We were done by noon, then usually followed with a huge water fight (like, we all drove around and used squirt guns and water balloons to nail each other), then a big party afterwards. In small towns you have to find ways to amuse yourself. I was really active with stuff in high school, so I don't think one thing every stood out from the other too much. Oh, homecoming week was the shiz! Seriously, started with decorating the school on Saturday & Sunday before, then a theme each day for costumes, then huge pep rally with the whole town before the game, then a dance the next day.3. What is your strongest common interest with DH? Um, football and friends. We both grew up in the same small town, so most of the things about us are pretty in common with each other. 4. Do you subscribe to any magazines? If so what one(s)? I get Glamour and Women's Health5. Plans for the weekend? Tonight we HAVE to go grocery shopping...the fridge is completely bare! Then tomorrow there is a beer & wine tasting with an appetizer competition that I'm entering in. Sunday I have a volleyball tournament starting at 9 am. The Lions game is on TV here, so I will be able to DVR it to watch when I get home...yay!

1. If you were to get smashed in the face with a pie, what flavor would you like it to be? (I hope you enjoyed reading and answering this question as much as I enjoyed coming up with it, I kept giggling I had the mental image of us all with pies ready to aim :-) I would like strawberry!

2. What was your favorite day/activity that was out of the ordinary at school? (i.e. plays, choir performances, play day, crazy dress day, etc) We had "May day play day" which was the whole school K-8 divided into groups and team up for tasks like relay races, water balloon tosses, tug of war, etc. So much fun!! )

3. What is your strongest common interest with DH? Sports have become a big part of our routine life, we also enjoy tropical places and margaritas :-)

4. Do you subscribe to any magazines? If so what one(s)? None! I don't have time or the desire to sit and read regularly but I occasionally pick up Every Day with Rachael Ray.

5. Plans for the weekend? Tonight I am chilling out doing much of nothing. Tomorrow at noon we're taking my nephew Zach bowling for his birthday present and then later in the day going to a birthday party for a hockey teammate of DH's. Sunday I'm going bridesmaid dress shopping with Brenna and two other bridesmaids and having "linner" at Brenna's parents house (next door to my dad). I'll probably pop in for a few to say hi to him before I leave the area.

Love this question!!! I'd say lemon meringue!

2. What was your favorite day/activity that was out of the ordinary at school? (i.e. plays, choir performances, play day, crazy dress day, etc)

I guess field trips - I used to love those! We went to the children's museum, we went to Dorney Park, we went to Wild West City. All kinds of fun stuff!

ETA: Oh! And the last few days of school before summer vacay and we'd be allowed to watch movies and bring in board games!

We both really appreciate crap reality TV sometimes!

4. Do you subscribe to any magazines? If so what one(s)?

Better Homes and Gardens and Weight Watchers magazines - for the recipes

5. Plans for the weekend?

Tonight - Hubby comes home from his biz trip - I really miss him!! His parents are coming over for dinner, it's FIL's bday

Saturday - I have my friend's baby shower - she's expecting twin girls!!!

Sunday - I have some spa appointments that I can.not.wait.for. I plan to just relax that whole day!

2. What was your favorite day/activity that was out of the ordinary at school? (i.e. plays, choir performances, play day, crazy dress day, etc) Well I was involved all the school plays/musicals lol so I always LOVED them.

3. What is your strongest common interest with DH? Eating out in the city. Though we don't do it often due to finances.

4. Do you subscribe to any magazines? If so what one(s)? Rachel Ray (it was nearly free and gives me some decent ideas for food), cosmo, glamour (both gifts from grandma who is a magazine fan!!)

5. Plans for the weekend? Probably seeing some friends tomorrow night other then that nothing really. Cleaning my house I hope though....thats key.

For sure - lemon merengue!

Definitely "School Spirit Day" and "Game Day" Fridays! Everyone wore school colors (orange/blue) and the feeling throughout the school was amazing. Didn't help that our football team was a perennial top team (produced a few NFLers), and I simply loved it!

3. What is your strongest common interest with DH?

This is an awesome question! It's hard to say what our "strongest" common interest is, but at the top would be: political views, importance of family (even though they are aggravating at times...hehe), love for antique shopping, pet rescue efforts and being service minded, especially to those underprivileged.

4. Do you subscribe to any magazines? If so what one(s)?

I do! Country Living, House Beautiful, Elle, Elle Decor, Woman's Day, Glamour, Better Homes and Gardens, and ESPN - the magazine!

5. Plans for the weekend?

Catching up on some household errands that have gone by the wayside with the last couple of weeks of busy work/travel is at the top of the list. Next up is decorating the outside for fall. Beyond that - getting some R&R!

(i.e. plays, choir performances, play day, crazy dress day, etc) School spirit days where everyone dressed up in crazy outfits - my favorite was probably cross-dresser day because it was oh-so-much-more awkward for teenage boys than girls

3. What is your strongest common interest with DH? Science, duh!

5. Plans for the weekend? Movie date tonight, then buying more knitting supplies (did I mention that practically ALL of my friends are pregnant!?!) and knitting like my life depended on it!

1. If you were to get smashed in the face with a pie, what flavor would you like it to be? Coconut cream! Good schitt.

2. What was your favorite day/activity that was out of the ordinary at school? (i.e. plays, choir performances, play day, crazy dress day, etc) In jr. high it was play days because I played flute in the band so I got to miss classes to play the music at each performance. In high school it was working in the school store my senior year. All of us marketing students got to take turns runnin' the joint.

3. What is your strongest common interest with DH? Football and karaoke.

4. Do you subscribe to any magazines? If so what one(s)? I get TV Guide every week/every other week from a subscription my mom ordered a while back. And although I don't subscribe to them anymore I still go in to B&N and buy a bunch of travel magazines like Budget Travel, National Geographic Traveler and Conde Nast Traveler.

5. Plans for the weekend? Chilling tonight, DH taking SD and her BFF to a haunted house tomorrow then BFF spending the night. Lions game on Sunday & picking up mom's car to keep at our house while she heads off to New Orleans.
