Saying "I'm Sorry"...
So Chris and I had a fight this morning -- yes, another one -- but this time I know it was my fault, and I feel really bad/sad/guilty about it, and I want to do something special for him to show him I'm meaning what I'm saying, and not just let it linger til we forget about it like we usually do. He's working from home today, so I was thinking on stopping somewhere on my way home from work and picking up something.... any ideas or suggestions? Anything goes.... I just really feel like I need to do SOMETHING for him for putting up with me...

Stand up for something you believe in.
His favorite food/treat from somewhere that he doesn't go often?
Sorry you had a fight
That's never fun.
Make up sex!
...and his favorite ice cream. Or beer. Or both. Or stop by Best Buy and buy a cheesy favorite movie that you guys don't already own? (That's kind of specific, but D has a million of those, like Super Troopers, Space Balls, etc.)
I'd go with a card with a thoughtful message and apology and either beer or a bottle of something he likes.
Definitely this! I think a thoughtful message can go a long way, and I love the idea of beer or wine or something he loves.

Props to you first and foremost to admitting you're sorry...
Anyway the other posts got it down with the yummy food.. A way to a man's heart as you know
