In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

New Job!!!
Happy Friday indeed! I am about to sign an offer letter for a new job. Since my company was bought out I was told I'd be laid off in 1-2 months. Then they told me they'd keep me on if I'd move to Atlanta. Researched Atlanta and loved it, but then found out they didn't want to offer me anything to move. So that became an unrealistic option for many reasons.
So, I finally landed a job up here (DC area!). Thanks for all of the support - I am so relieved and excited

Marketing manager for a data warehousing company. It sounds totally boring, but I have become a high tech marketing geek, so I'm excited
. It's kind of a start up, so I'm even more enthused about that because I'm joining right before they really start hiring/growing in 2012.
I figured you would get the high tech marketing geekiness since you work for Google!
