Crockpot recipe for chili?
Hi!
Does anyone have a good recipe for chili that I can make in the slow cooker?
The one I have and have used before is totally gourmet, including using a fancy chocolate, and all I want is a down home kind of chili.
*Also, not the kind of recipe that might call for "1/2 cup of ketchup or 1 cup of velveeta" LOLOL

Re: Crockpot recipe for chili?
I have a recipe I have made a few times that I really enjoy. Here it is:
Sautee 1 medium onion with a pound of ground chopped meat (or ground turkey/chicken) in a pan. Cook until brown. Add cooked meat to the crock pot and pour in (2) 15 oz. cans of Pinto beans (drained and rinsed), (2) 15 oz. cans of tomato sauce, 1 can of Del Monte diced tomatoes with the mild green chili's, 2 Tbsp. of chili powder and 1 Tbsp. of ground cumin. Stir well and cover. Cook on low for 8-10 hrs. Enjoy!
