Spoilers- Project Runway
What did everyone else think? Do you think the right people went on to Fashion Week?
I liked Laura more than I liked Josh. I hated that silver dress he made. I could be in the minority though.

I am happy with the results. But if it were based just on tonight I would have been fine with Josh and Laura going home.
So are all 4 really going to Fashion Week or will one get axed when they return and give their previews?

I was fine with the results. Agree with OP re: the silver dress, though. Definitely looked like the Statue of Liberty wearing a black tank top -- ugh!

In order of how I liked the collections: Anya, Viktor, Kimberly, Laura, and Josh.
Yes, Josh's was dead-last for me. It was both boring and hideous. His designs were awful and his styling was terrible. He needed to be sent home just for saying "artillerary."
Laura's was being too theme-y. I thought I was going to hate it more than I did, but it still wasn't good. That gown reminded me of Mondo's last controversial gown. (I'm surprised Heidi didn't love it more.) That nightgown thing was hideous and the skirt was an obvious afterthought.
Kim's I thought was nice. I even liked the drape of that skirt they hated. Fit issues aside, it was interesting. I didn't like how she styled that coat with the scarf only because it looked like she was hiding flaws in the top of it and on the shoulder. I'm glad we get to see a collection from her.
Viktor's was good too. I didn't think it was too safe, but I see where they're coming from with how commercial it was. I liked it though. The black dress wasn't reading clearly for me on my TV so I'll have to see what they were discussing with the boning and such later.
Anya's collection was really inspiring and I liked that she didn't do prints. I wish the white gown had been tailored a bit better but we know that's where she doesn't excel. I hope she pulls out some fab stuff for her collection.
I thought only 3 were going to FW? The end of this episode confused the hell out of me!
I hate Josh and all his stuff. Its so hideous.

I'm guessing all 4 will make collections and one will be eliminated based on their collection or there will be a mini challenge prior to fashion week. Only 3 will actually compete in fashion week. They've done something similar in past seasons I believe.

I thought Anya and Kimberly's collections were nice. To be honest, I couldn't pick a winner between the two of them. I didn't agree with the criticisms of Kimberly's collection.
Viktor's collection was very commercial, but nicely done.
Josh was a hot mess. I would have gotten rid of him awhile back.
Laura's collection was also not great and I have not really liked anything she has done all season.
I think the final 8 or 9 (I forget how many - but it was a lot) showed collections at fashion week. If you want to see them, they are posted over on tomandlorenzo.com.

Yes! I kept waiting for a judge to say something and no one ever did. I was surprised Nina said she liked it at all since she hated Mondo's version and his was much better than Laura's.
I really only like Anya and Viktor. I would have taken Kimberly for spot number three and sent Josh and Laura home.
Me too. Josh was crazy obnoxious with his haterade for Anya. So, she can't sew - the judges knew that from the beginning. Quit pouting like a baby because your designs aren't as great as hers. And then he goes and says she should be in Fashion Week? Okay hypocrit!

O.k. so what I didn't get.... I didn't really like Josh's collection. I thought it would be between him and Laura to go. Not Kimberly. I thought Kimberly's was much better than his....???

I was completely appalled at some of those collections. I could have done better outfits with my Barbies and a box of Kleenexes. What WAS that silver dress?! Hideous. And the keyhole boobie top? Wtf?
As far as who got to show, NINE designers showed at Fashion Week. Fashion Week typically falls so early in the season that half the cast ends up there (last year it was 10). However, only 3 are in true contention (but they all get the same budget, unlike in the first season). This is a well-known 'secret' about PR--you can even look at the collections if you wish--so it really annoys me that they persist in saying, "Only 3 designers will go to fashion week" every season. Nearly everyone 'goes' to Fashion Week. You just don't get to compete for the title.
