College Station people
What fast food places are immediately around campus? I am sending my sister a care package and want to throw in a few $5 gift cards. She doesn't have a car, so she either walks or hitches a ride from someone. I know I can do Starbucks and Taco Bell. What else is there? Needs to be a national chain so I can buy a gift card up here in NJ. Thanks

In addition to Starbucks and Taco Bell, really just McDonald's and Subway. Most of the stuff that is walking distance from campus are local businesses.
Is she a freshman? How's she enjoying it at A&M?
She is a sophomore and she loves it! Going in to it she really didn't think she was going to get in to all the traditions, but she goes to nearly every home football game with her friends now. I'm glad she's found a place that is perfect for her!
Thanks for the restaurant suggestions. Don't know that she really LOVES either of those places...but I will throw them in anyway and she better not complain

That's awesome that she loves it. It's a fun place - especially during football season. :-)
Two words: Potato Shack.
And they deliver as well. I think Potbellys, Mc'Donalds and PapaJohns are all really close to campus if she is on Northside. I'm not sure what is close to Southside - I lived in FHK for two years.
ETA: I could have sworn my mom bought me some Potato Shack giftcards and mailed them but looking at their website I dont see that option. Sorry.
This used to be my hangover food of choice. I loved that they delivered. We need one here!
Of all those things, I can get Taco Bell, Starbucks, McDonalds, Subway, and Chick-Fil-A. I would kill for a Taco Cabana up here! Last I talked to my sister she was planning to apply for a job at Potato Shack. lol.
