I am so annoyed

I just received an email from someone in the same non profit I volunteer with. Here is a portion of her email:

"If you could at this point, complete the order form and get it ready to mail - the deadline is tomorrow - and I am assuming I will have to also sign the check as it is for over $100 - before it can be mailed. I am available at either 930 or 1200."

Am I completely over reacting or is she out of line? This email came out of nowhere, no warning. I have no idea how to respond to her. Help?

They randomly told you to provide a check over 100 dollars? That would be out of line to me, too, as would the random two times she is available for signing it? I don't really get what's going on but it does seem out of line.

Is it a personal check and she's assuming you can't provide it (that was the initial impression I got)? Or is it a matter of she needs to sign checks over X amount? I am confused. It's a bit off-putting.

Is this a project you were working on? Have you heard of this before this random email? It sounds like she wants you to fill out the order form, get the payment ready, and mail it out. I would assume she's not asking YOU for a check, I think she wants you to get a check from the organization prepared and have her sign it, right? If a check is over a certain amount, an authorized representative from the organization needs to sign it - it sounds like the amount for this place is $100.

Are you scheduled to work today or is it supposed to be a day off? It sounds like this woman needs to work on her written communication/tone, regardless.

Sorry y'all, that was pretty confusing huh? I was not exactly thinking clearly. But, Noron has it right. She needs me to cut a check for the org. when I am not supposed to be working, nor did I have any sort of notice. Her email was just very I need this done NOW who cares what you're up too.

YES! What the hell?? The least she could do was call you and ask if you might be able to do what she needed. She came off super demanding. Did you end up doing what she asked?

Nope, I definitely told her I was busy all day! I asked for more notice next time. We will see if she complies.
