Oh, it breaks my heart with Dean cries. He redeemed himself tonight after being such an azz lately. Poor Jo, I kept on thinking she would admit that she was in love with him, but she never did. I was surprised she didn't kiss him right before she was going to light the lighter. I cant believe Dean just didn't come out with the fact that he killed Amy. Its going to come out sooner or later and it would be better for Sam if Dean told him and not some demon bad guy.
Im really enjoying being back to just fighting the bad guy and then drinking a beer by the impala. Its grassroots Supernatural. Sam is still doing it for me, which is really surprising. Usually he's done something by now that makes him look like a sissy or makes him more annoying, but he's coping with the crazy well and coming out strong. I like it!
The fact that Cordelia and Spike from Buffy/Angel are going to be in next week's episode slays (haha, pun intended) me!! I was IN LOVE with Spike as a teen! I knew Charisma Carpenter was in the episode, but he was a surprise. Yay!!
Re: Supernatural 10/14
I don't think Sam letting go of the guilt is weird. Think about it, he's already been to hell and back (literally)--it has to get better from there, right? He probably feels like he's already paid for what he's done, so there is no cause for him to feel guilty.
Where Dean, he feels responsible for everyone and everything that happens to them. Of course he should feel like crap about what he did to Amy, but there's so much else he's tormenting himself with. His face when Jo caressed it before she disappeared was heartbreaking, he's so broken inside. I wonder how it will all shake out, will he try and let go of the guilt/shame/pain? I know what he did to Amy will be brought to light eventually, but how and when?
It was a great episode all around. I liked Osiris being the baddie of the week, they did a great job with him. And waiting until the scene where Dean is on trial to reveal that it's the defendant who actually determines their own guilt or innocence? Brilliant.
I am so pissed I'm going to miss next week. You guys will have to give me a kick ass update on everything.
I loved seeing Sam as a lawyer. And what was with Dean having to psyche himself up for a hookup? Although it was really cute.
I loved seeing Jo. They had great chemistry together. I thought it was sweet that she wouldn't openly admit that she was in love with him.
I like where the season is going so far. Although I miss Cas. A lot.
It's not our fault you went and scheduled a gtg for Friday
My parents will be in town so I am not sure how much I'll get to see either.
I liked Dean having to psyche himself up, it's been a while since he's so much had to make eyes at a girl let alone go home with one--even he'd need a bit of a pep talk. I LOL'd at the "you're Dean Winchester..it's just like riding a bike.." stuff.
OH! And Dean giving Sam the sideeye for him saying "I picked it up from The Good Wife", seriously--judgement coming from Dean with his schmaltz-y medical drama love?
I missed that reference! That's hysterical. Yes, Dr. Sexy M.D. LOLOL
I'm late to the party but I just want to add this:
